We are deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved priest, Fr. Leo Schmitt, SVD.

Fr. Leo was always supportive of the San Jose Freinademetz MPC and Youth Ministry. We are forever thankful for all the encouragement, love, and blessings he offered to the community.

We want to offer our prayers and condolences.

Rest in peace, Fr. Leo.

Attention to all active FB users of San Jose Freinademetz Subd.:

The SJF Youth Pastoral group is currently looking for additional members of our choir to join in weekly Mass services at Sto. Nino De Praga Parish. The registration will start on April 29 onwards for ages 16-35 years old, Single or Married, has a passion for singing esp. worship songs, with pleasing personality and willing to be a part-time church worker. This is open to all SJF community members and residents of Brgy. Bagong Nayon Antipolo City. Seminars and workshops will be given to all new members.

Together, let us build a community of Millenials dedicated to Lord Jesus Christ.

"January 29 is the feast day of St Joseph Freinademetz SVD.

St Joseph was the first member of the fledgling Divine Word Missionaries to be sent out on mission, when the founder of the SVD, St Arnold Janssen, assigned him to China.

He stayed for many years in China, during turbulent political and cultural times, and he faced many challenges, but he came to know and love the Chinese people and was loved by them in return.

“I do not consider missionary life as a sacrifice I offer to God, but as the greatest grace that God could ever have lavished upon me,” he said."
