Dearest Jesus, we stand in awe of Your boundless love. You took the bread, broke it, and gave it to Your disciples, pouring out Your life so that we might live. As we partake of Your body that was broken for our healing, and Your blood that was shed for the forgiveness of our sins, our hearts overflow with gratitude. Wash us clean, renew our spirits, and fill us with Your divine presence. 🤍🕊️

Let this holy supper unite us closer to You and to one another as one body. Holy Spirit, kindle the fire of Your love within us. May the grace we receive empower us to go out into the world to serve, to love, and to shine Your light. May Your power and glory shine among men that You might be greatly glorified!

All the glory, power and honor be unto our dearest Jesus! 🤍

GENERAL SUNDAY WORSHIP

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of gathering in Your name today. We pray for every heart represented here—comfort those who are hurting, heal those who are sick, and provide for those in need. Dearest Jesus, prepare our hearts to give back to You. We exalt Your mighty Name, and may Your Words live within us ‘til the day of Your coming. Praise be unto God!🕊️

Theme:

“Escape for Thy Life: Don’t Look Back”

Scripture Anchor: Genesis 19:1-7, 9-16, 24, 26; Luke 17:32

Through the Word of God, we have learned that:

First, the urgency of escape.
There is danger in lingering in spiritually toxic environments. God’s warnings are meant to rescue us. When God says “escape,” the time to move is now.

Second, the danger of looking back.
Lot’s wife looked back with longing and regret for what she was leaving behind. Her body left S***m, but her heart remained there. Looking back shows a lack of faith in the destination God is leading us toward.

Third, the command to run forward.
Jesus reminds us that we must not turn back after choosing to follow Him.

Major Takeaways from Bible Study:

Salvation requires a clean break from old habits, sinful environments, and past identities. We cannot walk into God’s future while holding on to our past.

God has provided a way of escape from judgment, sin, and spiritual death through Jesus Christ. Our dearest Jesus has purged us from our sins; therefore, there should be no turning back.

Psalms 73:23-25

[23] Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
[24]Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
[25] Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

What a blessed Sunday in the sweet and holy presence of the Lord! Our hearts were filled with joy, strengthened by His Word, and reminded once again of His unfailing love and faithfulness.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for another opportunity to gather as one family in faith, to worship, pray, and hear Your precious Word. May we continue to walk in faith, trust in His perfect will, and keep our hearts steadfast in His presence.
