The faithful of Baguio, together with the delegation from the Vicariate of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, once again gathered for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at the end of the second day.

The celebration was presided over by the Rector of The Baguio Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Atonement Rev. Fr. Berlynden Dao-anis, and concelebrated by the following priests from the Vicariate of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage:

* Rev. Fr. Joey Valdez, Vicar Forane and Parish Priest of San Isidro Labrador Parish - Antipolo Hills, Antipolo City
* Rev. Fr. Manjorey Padilla and Rev. Fr. Keith Buenaventura, Parochial Vicars of The Antipolo Cathedral
* Rev. Fr. Alfredo Meneses, Jr., Parish Priest of the Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
* Rev. Fr. Rodney Cruz, Parish Priest of San Antonio de Padua Parish - Antipolo
* Rev. Fr. Francis Villamer, PACEM, Parish Priest of St. John Paul II Parish- Diocese of Antipolo
* Rev. Fr. Ariel Celeste, OSJ, Parish Priest and Rev. Fr. Jerry Cala, OSJ of St. Joseph Marello Parish - Antipolo City, Rizal
* Rev. Msgr. Pedro Caรฑonero, PhD, and Rev. Fr. Idris Francisco, Parish Priest and Team Ministry Member, respectively, of the Seminary Parish of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag in Antipolo

Together as one Vicariate, the faithful of Baguio witnessed the deep devotion brought from Antipoloโ€”a devotion to Mary that continually leads us closer to Christ. This gathering is a beautiful reminder that, despite coming from different communities, we are united by one faith, one mission, and one love for Christ and His Church.

On the second day of the visit of the pilgrim image of Nuestra Seรฑora de la Paz y Buen Viaje to the City of Pines, devotees and the faithful of Baguio continue to venerate the revered pilgrim image, bringing with them their prayers for a good journey in life and asking for her intercession that they may grow closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. Through this pilgrimage, the faithful are reminded to journey with Our Blessed Mother, the Birhen ng Antipolo, with faith, hope, and love, while entrusting their lives, prayers, and intentions to the loving care of the Lord.

Earlier today, at five in the afternoon, the Most Rev. Ruperto Cruz Santos, D.D., Bishop of Antipolo, led the Eucharistic Celebration in honor of the Blessed Mother, Nuestra Seรฑora de la Paz y Buen Viaje, together with the Most Rev. Rafael Cruz, D.D., Bishop of Baguio. The Mass was concelebrated by the clergy of the Diocese of Baguio, most notably Rev. Fr. Berlynden Dao-anis, Rector of The Baguio Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Atonement, and the clergy from the Vicariate of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Antipolo, led by the Vicar Forane, Rev. Fr. Joey Valdez, together with our Cathedral priests, Rev. Fr. Manjorey Padilla and Rev. Fr. Keith Buenaventura.

In his homily, the Most Rev. Ruperto Santos reflected on the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the Birhen ng Antipolo and her pilgrim visit to Baguio, emphasizing that Mary continues to journey with her people as the Mother of Peace and Good Voyage and Our Lady of Atonement. He highlighted three ways Mary accompanies the faithful: she walks with her people, intercedes for them, and forms their hearts through purity, obedience, and respect. He encouraged the faithful of Baguio to entrust themselves to Mary, allowing her maternal care to unite their hearts and lead them closer to Christ, the source of peace, healing, and reconciliation.

As a sign of gratitude for welcoming the pilgrim image, Bishop Ruperto gifted the Bishop of Baguio, the Most Rev. Rafael Cruz, and the Rector of the Baguio Cathedral with a medium-sized replica of the Birhen ng Antipolo. This gesture strengthened the spiritual bond between the Dioceses of Antipolo and Baguio through our Blessed Mother, the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage and the Lady of Atonement. Through her maternal care, may she continue to accompany us as we journey together toward Our Lord Jesus Christ, the source of peace and the companion of our lifeโ€™s journey.

The pilgrim image of Nuestra Seรฑora de la Paz y Buen Viaje continues its journey and has now arrived in the City of Baguio. (Diocese of Baguio).

On the way to Baguio, the pilgrim image, together with delegates from the Vicariate of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, was welcomed by Baguioโ€™s chilly and foggy weather, accompanied by monsoon rains. Despite the weather conditions, the image of the Birhen ng Antipolo safely arrived at The Baguio Cathedral and Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Atonement, where it was warmly welcomed by the faithful of Baguio.

Upon arrival, Rev. Fr. Joey Valdez, Vicar Forane of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage, led the welcome rites for the arrival of the pilgrim image. Afterwards, to deepen and spread devotion to the Birhen ng Antipolo, Rev. Fr. Keith Buenaventura, Parochial Vicar of the Antipolo Cathedral, delivered a Marian Conference.

The faithful and parishioners of the Baguio Cathedral were given the opportunity to venerate the revered pilgrim image before the beginning of the Eucharistic Celebration today at 5:00 PM, which will be presided over by the Most Rev. Ruperto Santos, D.D., Bishop of Antipolo.
