Today, we celebrate 𝗦𝘁. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, a special day dedicated to honoring and praying for our priests, who strive faithfully shepherd God's people and lead us closer to Christ.

St. John Mary Vianney, lived a life of profound humility, holiness, and selfless service. As the humble Curé of Ars, France, he tirelessly devoted himself to preaching the Gospel, celebrating the Holy Eucharist, and spending countless hours hearing confessions, becoming a living witness of God's mercy and love.

As we celebrate this day, let us offer our prayers in a special way for all priests, especially our Cathedral shepherds— the Most Rev. Ruperto Santos, D.D., Rev. Fr. Manjorey Padilla, and Rev. Fr. Keith Buenaventura. May the Lord continue to strengthen them with wisdom, humility, and unwavering love as they faithfully lead His flock, proclaim His Gospel, and become living instruments of Christ's mercy, truth, and peace.

𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗬 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗗𝗔𝗬, 𝗙𝗥. 𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗝𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔!

As we celebrate the Feast of St. John Mary Vianney, Patron Saint of Parish Priests, we give thanks to God for the gift of your priesthood and for the blessing of having you as the Spiritual Director of our Social Communications Ministry.

Thank you Fr. Manjo, for your constant guidance, patience, and presence in our ministry. Through your words and example, you remind us that our work in Social Communications is more than taking photographs, creating videos, writing captions, or sharing stories. At its heart, it is a ministry of bringing people closer to Christ and helping them encounter His love through the stories of faith that we share.

As Saint John Mary Vianney beautifully reminds us, “The priesthood is the love of the heart of Jesus.” May your priesthood continue to be a living expression of that love, through every Mass you celebrate, every person you accompany, every word of guidance you offer, and every act of service you give to the Church.

We pray that the Lord may continue to bless you with strength, wisdom, patience, and joy as you faithfully carry out your vocation. May Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage continue to accompany and protect you, and may Saint John Mary Vianney intercede for you always.

Last night, the Antipolo Cathedral Social Communication (ACSOCOM) successfully concluded the fourth and final day of our technical run in preparation for the Closing of the Pilgrimage Season.
Every camera tested, every cable connected, every cue rehearsed, and every volunteer's dedication reflects our shared mission of proclaiming the Gospel through media. Behind every broadcast is a team serving with excellence, unity, and love for God.
As we prepare for this solemn celebration, which will be presided over by His Grace, the Apostolic Nuncio to the Philippines, , we humbly entrust our work to the Lord, praying that every technical detail may help bring people closer to Christ and Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage.

𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒎, 𝑶𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏

Last night we held a productive coordination meeting together with the Broadcast Servers, Service Team and the Diocesan Social Communications Ministry in preparation for the Closing of the Pilgrimage Season on July 7 2026

We were also blessed by the presence and guidance of our Spiritual Director of AC SOCOM and Director of the Diocesan Social Communications Ministry, Rev. Fr. Manjorey O. Padilla whose wisdom and encouragement continue to inspire us in our mission of serving the Church through social communications

As one team we continue to prepare with dedication unity and faith so that this celebration may truly give glory to God and bring His message closer to His people

AMPLIFY 2026 | DIOCESAN SOCOM MEDIA SUMMIT

𝐖𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞: Antipolo Cathedral’s Social Communications Ministry Recognized at the Diocesan SOCOM Media Summit 2026, held last May 16, 2026.

With humble hearts, we express our sincere gratitude to the Diocese of Antipolo Social Communications Ministry for honoring us with the 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝, recognizing the effectiveness of digital media in spreading the Good News of the Lord across the country.

We would also like to thank our Spiritual Director, Fr. LOOK | Oath-Taking of the Social Communications Ministry in celebration of World Communications Sunday.

Last May 17, 2026 a Eucharistic Celebration was held at the International Shrine of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in celebration of the World Communications Sunday presided by Rev. Fr. Manjorey O. Padilla. The members of the Social Communications took their oath as a shared commitment to uphold responsible, honest, and compassion in spreading the word of God to all. We’re in a time where social media influences us easily, with misinformation spreading fast these days, the promises made on that day serves as a reminder to the call of service in upholding the truth and maintaining authenticity.

The SOCOM members may work behind the cameras, but the spirit of faith and honesty is kept through captured moments that depicts the stories of followers and devotees. As members of the Social Communications Ministry may we become role models of proper social media use and let us unite in sending God’s message of love with clarity and integrity that reflects Christ-Centered communication.

I spent almost an hour thinking about what the most fitting answer would be, especially since we were asked to post this as our entry for World Communications Sunday.

Honestly, I kept staring at a blank screen, wondering how to write something meaningful about communication in a world where almost everything can already be generated in seconds.

Then while reading the usual responses from AI tools, I kept encountering this line:

Because beyond every screen, account, caption, or profile is still a real person carrying unseen struggles, emotions, and stories.

May we never trade that identity for validation from the world. Instead, let us continue to use the voices entrusted to us to encourage, inspire, and proclaim the Gospel of the Lord.
