A new mission, a greater calling.
With grateful hearts, we congratulate Rev. Fr. Ivan Joseph F. Feniquito on his elction as Assistant National Coordinator and Coordinator for Diocesan Vocation Directors for term 2026-2028.
May your leadership bring more hearts to listen, discern and respond to God’s call.

A new chapter begins! Meet the new National Officers of the Directors of Vocations in the Philippines (DVP)! 🐟

During our 29th DVP National Convention held in the Archdiocese of Jaro (April 27-30, 2026), our delegates prayerfully discerned and elected the new leaders who will guide our shared mission. They officially took their oath of office during our Closing Mass.

Let us welcome and pray for our new leaders:

Rev. Fr. Nathaniel G. Gentizon
National Coordinator

Rev. Fr. Ivan Joseph F. Feniquito
Assistant National Coordinator & Coordinator for Diocesan Vocations Directors

Rev. Fr. Ferderiz B. Cantiller, C.Ss.R.

Sr. Regina M. Ramos, O.P.

Rev. Fr. Nonito D. Gallego, S.V.D.
National Coordinator for Religious Men

Sr. Mari Jonna B. Rosales, S.P.C.
National Coordinator for Religious Women

Ms. Pamela T. Abecia

CALLED. FORMED. SENT.

Are we just maintaining, or are we on a mission? This was the powerful challenge from Most Rev. Herman G. Abcede, RCJ, D.D., in our final talk for the 29th DVP National Convention.

He urged us to shift from a "maintenance mentality" to a "missionary mentality," constantly asking: Who has not yet heard? Where is Christ not yet loved?

A vocation that isn't missionary, Bishop Herman reminded us, becomes self-referential and loses its purpose. The call isn't just to be called. It’s to be formed in communion, sent on mission, and joyfully spent for others.💙💪

On this day, April 28 in the year 1702, the San Carlos Seminary was established.

The Royal and Conciliar San Carlos Seminary is the archdiocesan seminary of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. It was established in the year 1702, by decree of King Philip V of Spain. At present, the institution houses seminarians belonging to various dioceses in Luzon, particularly from the Metro Manila region.

Let us pray for more vocation to priesthood!

St. Charles Borromeo, pray for us!

𝗣𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗗 | Join the Bokasyon Aranzazu in prayer for our very own 𝗕𝗿𝗼. 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆, 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗢𝗖𝗗, who will profess his First Religious Vows on May 16, 2026, together with his four fellow brothers from the Order of Discalced Carmelites.

The rite will take place at the St. Elijah Novitiate House in Dalwangan, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.

Let us accompany them with our prayers as they take this important step in their Carmelite vocation. We also lift up in prayer the continued blossoming and growth of vocations, that the Lord may send faithful servants into His harvest.

May those whom He calls have the courage to listen to His voice and the generosity to respond with open hearts. May the Lord guide and bless all who are discerning their vocation, granting them wisdom, clarity, and the grace to follow His call wherever He leads.
