A PRAYER FOR ALL MOMS
Abba Father,
Today, we thank You and honor every mother. We’re grateful for this gift and privilege of motherhood.
Although it oftentimes feels overwhelming to take on this role, we thank you for the grace that you give them each and everyday–for the quiet sacrifices, the sleepless nights, the fight of faith, and the strength behind every loving home.
You see the tears they hide,
the whispers of prayer,
and the love they pour out daily for their family.
There is a holy weight mothers carry.
How they hold homes together with tired hands and faithful hearts.
How they continue serving even when empty,
loving even when unappreciated,
believing even when discouraged.
But your Word says,
“She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.” - Proverbs 31:25
So Lord God, I ask that you clothe every mother again with that divine strength.
Not the strength to merely survive,
but the grace to breathe, rest, and hope again.
May every mother know this today:
You are cherished by God.
You are treasured by your family.
You are stronger than you realize.
And even in ordinary moments,
your love reflects the heart of Christ.
Bless the mothers who nurture,
the spiritual mothers who guide,
the grieving mothers who mourn,
the waiting mothers who pray,
and the grandmothers whose wisdom still covers generations.
May their homes be filled with grace and wisdom.
May their hearts overflow with peace and joy.
And may they never forget
that the God who called them to motherhood
walks beside them every step of the journey.
And as Jesus said,
He who believes in Me, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” - John 7:38
The Spirit of the Lord lives in you! You are full of life and you are life-giving! You are not anything less.
We are calling out your body and soul to align with your Spirit today! As a mother, you have not just given birth but you are continually a life-giver.
Know that you are not only a receiver but also a carrier and a releaser of God’s vision and purpose in your life and into the lives of your family and the people around you!
You are gifted and uniquely called to mother–to keep loving, serving and giving, but you will never run out! You will not lack, you will not run dry, you will not burn out. Nothing can can stop your divine call! You have a great capacity in you for the Spirit is alive in you!
So we declare, hope alive! Faith arise! Spirit come!
We glorify you, Lord! And we give the highest of praises to you!
