Today, we celebrate the life of our beloved Spiritual Director, Bishop Bro. Eddie C. Villanueva —a faithful servant whom God has entrusted to lead and shepherd the Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide family.

Thank you for being a vessel of God’s Word, faith, and love, and for continually inspiring us to live boldly for Christ and proclaim that Jesus Is Lord!

May the Lord continue to strengthen you, bless you with good health, and grant you many more fruitful years of ministry. May He continue to use your life to touch more hearts and lead more people to Jesus.

Our Beloved Bishop Bro. Eddie,

Today, as you celebrate your 80th birthday, we thank God for your life and for the blessing you have been to so many people here in the Philippines and around the world.

We have heard you faithfully preach God’s Word and pray according to His Word, countless times through the years. We have seen your deep desire for people to know Jesus—the One who saves, heals, delivers, restores, and transforms lives.

You have been a spiritual father to us—evangelizing, discipling, and commissioning us to live out the full Gospel of Christ, with a deep dependence on the Holy Spirit. You have taught us not only through your preaching, but through the life you have lived before us.

Our prayer is that God’s faithfulness, which endures to all generations, will continue to be evident in your life and in the generations that follow you. (Psalm 119:90) May you continually experience the faithfulness of the God who keeps His covenant and surrounds you with His steadfast love. (Deuteronomy 7:9)

May you continue to taste and see that the Lord is good, and may He protect, strengthen, and fill you with the peace that only His presence can give. (Psalm 34:8)
