Knowing about God is important, but faith also calls us to experience His faithfulness in our everyday lives. James 5:17-18 reminds us that Elijah was a man just like us, yet through prayer and faith, God worked through him. We can also trust our extraordinary God, even when the situation seems impossible.

As we reflect on “Ordinary People, Extraordinary God,” may we move beyond simply knowing about God and grow in our experience of His presence and faithfulness. This week, bring your prayers, decisions, and challenges to Him, then choose to trust Him with what comes next.

God’s grace restores ordinary people and gives us the opportunity to grow and fulfill His purpose. Just like John Mark, who was restored after stepping away from Paul and Barnabas, we are reminded that our failures do not have the final say in what God can do through our lives.

God can use our ordinary lives for His extraordinary purpose when we allow His grace to shape and restore us.

As we reflect on “Ordinary People, Extraordinary God,” may we trust God’s grace, learn from our setbacks, and continue taking steps toward what He has called us to do.
