πŸ“– Philippians 1:1–30 – Joy in Serving Christ

In Philippians 1:1–30, Paul thanked God for the believers and encouraged them to continue growing in faith. Even though Paul was in prison, he remained joyful because the Gospel of Jesus was still being preached.
Paul reminded believers to live for Christ, stay united, be courageous, and stand firm in their faith no matter what challenges come their way.

✨ Lesson:
True joy is found in Jesus, not in our circumstances. As young believers, we are called to live faithfully, boldly share our faith, and honor God in everything we do.

πŸ“– Mark 7: True Cleanliness Comes from the Heart

In Mark 7, Jesus taught that what matters most is not outward traditions, but the condition of our hearts.
The Pharisees criticized Jesus’ disciples for not following the tradition of washing their hands before eating. But Jesus explained that true purity comes from the heart. Jesus also showed His love and power by healing the daughter of a woman with great faith and healing a man who was deaf and unable to speak.

✨ Lesson:
Jesus cares about our hearts. He wants us to have true faith, kindness, and obedience to God.

πŸ“– Jeremiah 50:11–20
Title: God Restores His People
Even in times of judgment, God’s mercy remains. Though people may fall into sin, God is faithful to forgive, restore, and give hope to those who seek Him.
Let us remember that pride and wrongdoing lead us away from God, but His grace welcomes us back with love and forgiveness.

β€œFor I will pardon those whom I preserve.”
β€” Jeremiah 50:20

πŸ™ God’s mercy is greater than our mistakes, and His restoration is greater than our brokenness.

Glory Church Bible Study
Esther 8:1–17:

In this passage, after Haman is executed for his evil plan against the Jews, King Ahasuerus gives Haman’s estate to Queen Esther. Esther then reveals to the king that Mordecai is her relative, and the king promotes Mordecai to a high position, giving him authority over Haman’s property.

However, the danger to the Jewish people is not yet fully removed because Haman’s earlier decree to destroy them still stands. Esther pleads with the king again, and the king allows Esther and Mordecai to write a new decree in the king’s name. This new decree gives the Jews the right to defend themselves against anyone who attacks them.

Mordecai writes and sends the decree throughout the kingdom, and the Jews rejoice greatly. There is celebration, joy, and honor among the Jews because their situation has been reversedβ€”from fear of destruction to hope and protection.

In the end, many people in the kingdom show respect to the Jews because they see that God’s favor is upon them, and the Jews experience relief, happiness, and victory.

Main lesson: God can turn hopeless situations into victory, and His protection can bring joy even in times of danger.

John 21:1–17
This is the third appearance of Jesus to His disciples. Peter denied Jesus three times, but when he saw Jesus again, Jesus asked him three times, β€œDo you love Me?”
In the same place where Peter once lived as a fisherman, Jesus met him again β€” not to condemn him, but to restore him through His love.
Peter was once a fisherman of fish, but Jesus anointed him to become a fisher of people.
This reminds us that even after our failures, Jesus still meets us again with love, forgiveness, and purpose.

Queen Esther stepped out in faith and courage. Even when it was risky, she trusted God’s timing and approached the king. Meanwhile, Haman allowed pride, anger, and hatred to control his heart.

Trust God’s perfect timing.
Walk in courage.
Do not let pride and bitterness rule your heart.

John 21:1–17
