CONTINUATION THE STUDY OF KARMA AND REINCARNATION :
As Human beings, we are incarnate souls. Before incarnating we existed in union with the primordial forms, i.e. , the ideas of truth , goodness and beauty. Separating from them at birth, we forgot them momentarily but, on remembering our past , we become consumed by the desire to return to the original reality.
The independence of, and the distinction between, the intelligent principle and vital principle couldn't be expressed clearly.
It is also affirmation of the notion of pre-existence of the soul , the vague intuition of another reality to which the soul aspires, the concept of survival , the idea of leaving the spirit world in order to incarnate and a return to this same world after death. finally it offers the seeds of the doctrine of fallen angels.
When the soul makes use of the body to consider any material object. it becomes dizzy, as if intoxicated , because it is dragged by the body things which never remain the same. By contrast, when it inquires about its very essence , it finds itself in the realm of the pure , the everlasting, the immortal , and being a kin to these it dwells always with them whenever it is by itself and is not hindered , and it has rest from its wanderings and remains always the same and unchanging with the changeless, since it is in communion therewith. And the state soul is called wisdom.
"The person who considers things from an earthly , matterbound viewpoint is under an illusion. To see things in their true perspective , he or she must look at them from on high--that is to say , from the spiritual point of view. The discerning person must be able to distinguish the soul from the body, and see with the eyes of the spirit. That is what the Spiritist Doctrine also teaches."
