Let us open our eyes on the Spiritual importance of wearing a Veil

A veil is an article of clothing or hanging cloth that is intended to cover some part of the head or face, or an object of some significance.
the concept of covering the head is or was associated with propriety and modesty. Most traditional depictions of the Virgin Mary, the mother of Christ, show her veiled.

Wearing a veil (also known as a headcovering) is seen as a sign of humility before God, as well as a reminder of the bridal relationship between Christ and the church. This practice is based on 1 Corinthians 11:4–16 in the Christian Bible, where St. Paul writes:
"every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered"

Wearing a veil in the church a woman is not showing how holy she is but to show how holy God is.

Wearing a veil to honour Jesus reminds a woman of her femininity and dignity.

Wearing a veil to honour Jesus reminds a woman of her purity and chastity.

Jesus as Jesus had once told a visionary that a woman who wears a veil while receiving Him gives Him great consolation. She is like Veronica wiping His holy face with her veil. an act of courage and fortitude in some parishes where no woman is wearing a veil. A woman may need great courage to dare to be different in doing the right thing.
