𝗟𝗔𝗨𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗨𝗠!

With great joy and profound thanksgiving, we announce that the Holy See, through the Dicastery for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments, has granted the Decree of Elevation to the rank of Minor Basilica to Holy Rosary Parish (Pisamban Maragul), Angeles City, Pampanga.

Rev. Fr. Manuel C. Sta. Maria, the parish priest, together with the priests of the Holy Rosary Parish, received the decree of elevation today at the Apostolic Nuciature.

This momentous occasion providentially coincides with several significant milestones in the history of both the parish and the city. This year marks the 380th anniversary of the Battle of La Naval, the 230th anniversary of the founding of Barrio Culiat (later known as B***n Culiat and now Angeles City), and the 140th anniversary of the first Holy Mass celebrated in Pisamban Maragul.

The date of the rite of solemn declaration is yet to be announced.

Last night, December 30, 2025, our organization, the Church Greeters and Collectors, celebrated the joy and warmth of the Christmas season together.

It was a simple yet meaningful gathering filled with laughter, fellowship, and gratitude. We took time to reflect on the year that has passed and the service we shared as an organization. Moments like these remind us of the importance of community and unity. 💝
