🕊️MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS SEMINAR🕊️

The Ministry of Altar Servers of Apu successfully attended the Mental Health Awareness Seminar with the theme, “Healing the Mind, Nourishing the Soul.” ✨

This meaningful gathering served as a reminder that caring for our mental well-being is just as important as nurturing our spiritual life. Through the knowledge and insights shared, we were encouraged to become more understanding, compassionate, and mindful of ourselves and others.

As servants of God, may we continue to strengthen not only our faith but also our hearts and minds, becoming instruments of hope and healing in our community.

📖✨ The MOAS Examination has been officially concluded.

More than just a test of knowledge, we hope this examination has become a meaningful opportunity for every participant to deepen their understanding, grow in their service, and reflect on the responsibilities entrusted to them. May the lessons learned today continue to guide and inspire you in your journey of faith.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the examinees for their dedication and participation, and to our officers who faithfully facilitated and organized the examination. Your commitment and service contributed greatly to the success of this activity.

The Vicariate Sports Fest has finally come to an end, and our hearts are filled with gratitude. 🤍

To all the altar servers of Apu Shrine who participated, thank you for giving your best not only in every game, but also in the way you carried yourselves throughout the event. Though we may not have brought home championship titles, we believe that our true victory was seen in our humility, patience, respect, and sportsmanship.

You showed that a true altar server is not measured by medals, trophies, or scores, but by faith, discipline, and character. In every challenge, every loss, and every tiring moment, you remained united and grounded in your love and service to God. Sabi nga nila "Sama sama sa hirap, sama sama rin tayong makakalasap ng sarap!".

Indeed, when we offer our efforts to the Lord, every hardship becomes meaningful, and every step helps us grow stronger together as one ministry.

Thank you for representing Apu Shrine with dignity, kindness, and faith. We are proud of each one of you. ❤️

MINISTRY OF ALTAR SERVERS OF APUNG MAMACALULU SHRINE TEAM BUILDING 2026

On May 4, Monday 2026, the Ministry of Altar Servers of Apung Mamacalulu held its annual team building at Axel’s Farm in Magalang.

This activity was not only intended to strengthen the bond among the servers but also to deepen our relationship with Apu. Before the games and fellowship, Bro. Orlyn F. Ochoa, our Vice President, and Bro. Godwin T. Cruz, former minor seminarian, discussed the Liturgy of the Word, as well as the history and origin of Apung Mamacalulu.

After the discussion, we proceeded to lunch and enjoyed various games. To further enhance our camaraderie, the servers played volleyball and basketball, followed by a refreshing swim.

It was truly a great and fun day for all of us. We deeply thank our Lord, our Shrine Rector, Rev. Fr. Nolasco L. Fernandez, our sponsors and also the guidance of, Seminarian Renz Marion Cunanan, and also our advicer Bro. Joevin Laxa Balatbat, and our beloved officers for organizing this meaningful event.

A meaningful beginning for our newest servers. 🙏

Earlier today at 10:00 AM, the Ministry of Altar Servers successfully conducted its first seminar for our new members—an important step as they begin their journey of service in the Church.

The session focused on a foundational introduction to the life, purpose, and responsibilities of an altar server, led by Bro. Orlyn Jay Ochoa. More than just learning roles, it was a moment of formation—instilling discipline, reverence, and a deeper understanding of what it truly means to serve at the altar.

May this be the start of a committed and faithful journey in serving God and His people. ✨
