On this special day of Pentecost, we think about the time when the Holy Spirit came to the Church and gave them the power to spread the word of God with courage, unity, and passion. Just like the disciples were changed in the Upper Room, John Wesley was also changed when he had his experience at Aldersgate, where he felt a strange warmth in his heart and knew for sure that God was with him. This experience was very personal and meaningful for John Wesley, and it's a reminder of how the Holy Spirit can transform our lives too. As we celebrate Pentecost, we remember the importance of being bold and united in our faith, just like the early Church. And we're grateful for the example of John Wesley, who showed us what it means to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to share God's love with others.

Pentecost reminds us that revival begins when the Spirit moves in surrendered hearts. Aldersgate reminds us that true faith is not merely intellectual, but living, burning, and transforming. Today, we pray for another awakening in our generation—a fresh fire for holiness, evangelism, compassion, and faithful discipleship.

“Do It Again, Lord.”
Send Your Spirit to us once more, fill our hearts with love and warmth. Bring new life to Your Church and stir up the whole world to give You the glory You deserve.
