The K*K Motorcade, led by the Youth Ministry, journeyed through the chapels and mission centers under Lourdes Parish, bringing the Holy Cross closer to the faithful and their communities. At every stop, we paused in prayer, entrusting each community and its people to the loving care of Christ.

Through this simple yet meaningful journey, we were reminded that the Cross is not only carried from one place to another, it is a sign of Christโ€™s presence, love, and faithfulness among His people.

As the day came to a quiet close, the youth gathered for a sacred night of reflection, silence, and prayer through the Prayer in the Way of Taizรฉ, led by Rev. Fr. Enrique M. Luzung together with the Youth Ministry.

In the stillness of the night, hearts were invited to rest in Godโ€™s presence, surrendering the worries and burdens they carried. Through the Veneration of the Cross, everyone was given a moment to draw near to Christ, to silently whisper their prayers, fears, hopes, and everything they longed to entrust to the Man on the Cross.

In silence, we listened. In prayer, we surrendered. At the Cross, we found Christ.

Every journey becomes more meaningful when we understand where it began. As part of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan (K*K), the Lourdes Parish Youth Ministry gathered for a Formation Talk on the history and journey of the K*K, led by Bro. Joshua Macalino, seminarian.

Through the session, the youth were given a deeper appreciation of the roots, purpose, and mission of the Krusada ning Krus ding Kayanakan, reminding us that the Cross we carry today is part of a continuing journey of faith among the young people of the Church.

In a spirit of faith and communion, the Krus ding Kayanakan (K*K) was welcomed through a solemn Holy Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, bringing together the parish and campus youth ministries of the Vicariate of the Sacred Heart in prayer and fellowship.

The Holy Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Enrique M. Luzung, Parish Priest and Youth Spiritual Director of the vicariate, and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Rayvin S. Garcia, Resident Priest.

In his homily, Among Ric reminded us of the profound love revealed through the Cross:

What we once awaited with joyful hearts has now become a beautiful moment of faith, fellowship, and mission as the Krus ding Kayanakan was welcomed at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Vicariate of the Sacred Heart.

The Holy Cross was transferred from the Vicariate of the Holy Spirit to the Vicariate of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with the faithful and youth gathering at Starbucks to welcome and accompany the Cross on its journey to Lourdes Parish, it was then followed by the Acceptance Rites.

As we welcomed the Cross, we were reminded of the Three Kโ€™s goal: ๐˜’๐˜ข๐˜ด๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ฑ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜บ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ, ๐˜’๐˜ข๐˜จ๐˜ถ๐˜ช๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ, ๐˜ข๐˜ต ๐˜’๐˜ข๐˜บ๐˜ข๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ฃ๐˜ฆโ€”strengthening our faith, deepening our bonds, and journeying together as young people of Christ.
