👣 Step by Step, Day by Day! | DVBS 2026 GRADUATION: May 10, 2026

The journey is well underway at The Lord is My Banner Church! This year, our hearts are set on one mission: "FOLLOW JESUS: WALK IN HIS WAY." 👣✨

Following Jesus isn't just a one-time decision; it’s a daily adventure! From the songs we sing to the lessons we learn, we are discovering that His path is the only one that leads to true joy, purpose, and light. Whether the path is smooth or the climb is steep, we’re walking together with our eyes on the Shepherd.

What Walking in His Way Looks Like:

Following His Lead: Choosing love, even when it’s hard.

👉Trusting His Map: Learning His Word to guide our steps.

👉Walking in Unity: Growing together as one family in Christ.

We are so proud of our young diciples for their energy and heart on the whole week! Let’s keep moving forward, one faithful step at a time.

🌊 Stepping Out of the Boat: DVBS Day 4!

On our Day 4, it was all about walking in faith at The Lord is My Banner Church! We dived into the powerful story of Peter and Jesus from Matthew 14:22-33.

When the storms of life get loud and the waves feel high, we learned that we don’t have to stay stuck in the boat. Just like Peter, we are called to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the one who calms every storm and holds us steady when we step out into the unknown.

👉Courage over Fear: Faith isn’t the absence of fear, but trusting God in the midst of it.
👉He is Reachable: Even when we stumble, His hand is always there to catch us.

"Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid." — Matthew 14:27

DVBS—Day 3;Walking in Obedience 👣✨

The Lord is our Banner, and today we are following His lead! On Day 3 of TLIMB DVBS 2026, we learned that obedience isn’t just about following rules—it’s about trusting the One who knows the way. When we walk with Him, we never walk alone.

"Obedience is the evidence of our trust in God. Today at The Lord is My Banner Church, our kids learned that saying 'Yes' to God’s way is the best path we can ever take. Step by step, we are learning to follow His lead! 👣📖 "

DVBS Day 2: Walk in Love—Love Like Jesus🕊✨

Today, we are diving deep into the incredible love of Jesus and what it means to truly "walk in love." 👣❤️

The Greatest Love of All: Jesus!
When we talk about the love of Jesus, we aren't just talking about a feeling—we are talking about a promise kept and a sacrifice made.

What His Love Looks Like:
It is Unconditional: He doesn't love you because of what you do; He loves you because of who He is. There is nothing you can do to make Him love you more, and nothing you can do to make Him love you less.

👉It is Restorative
👉It is Sacrificial: As the scripture says, "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends" (John 15:13).

💡 Why It Changes Everything
Knowing you are loved by the Creator of the universe changes how you see yourself and how you treat others. It turns our "empty cups" into overflowing wells of kindness, patience, and grace.

"We love because He first loved us." — 1 John 4:19

🙌 A Simple Reflection
Take a moment today to breathe in that grace. You don't have to earn it, and you don't have to be perfect. You just have to receive it.

DVBS Day One Recap: Follow Jesus, Walk in His Way! 💙💛🕊✨

What an incredible start to our Daily Vacation Bible School! Today, we kicked off our journey of faith by learning what it truly means to follow the path set before us.

"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" 📖John 14:6

👣 The Journey Continues
We are just getting started! As we continue through the week, we pray that every child at The Lord is My Banner Family Worship Center will not only hear about the Way but choose to walk in it daily.

We can't wait to see what God has in store for the rest of the week as we continue to Follow Jesus and Walk in His Way!

A New Chapter & A Stronger Foundation 🌊⛪️

What an incredible Sunday! Yesterday, May 3, 2026, our church family gathered for a powerful grace: Worship, Family Day, and Water Baptism.

It was a day defined by new beginnings and the joy of community. From the powerful moments of praise in our morning service to the laughter shared across the potbless, our hearts are full.🕊

• Joseph has a gift of interpreting dreams, that's why he called Joseph the dreamer

Adversity:
• Adversity means a state of serious, continued difficulty, misfortune or affliction
• Abandonment by his brother
• Victim of false accusations
