MIDWEEK PRAYER MEETING

Purihin ang Diyos sa kpahayagan ng Kaniyang Salita in the book of Acts 10:1-48 ptungkol sa buhay ni Cornelio-isang taong may pusong Tapat na Humahanap sa Diyos.

Cornelio
•centurion/kawal ng Romano
•isang Hentil -hindi anak ni Abraham,wala sa linya ng kaligtasan
•A good person
-devoted,God-fearing
-religious, sampu ng kanyang pamlya
-prayerful
-helping the poor
*There's a limitation of one's goodness
-good works will never save us!
Eph 2:8-9 -only by God's grace we are saved.

Puso ng Diyos ay maabot ang lahat.
Cornelio-bagaman isang Hentil ay tumugon after ng kanyang pangitain

*Natagpuan ni Cornelio ang katotohanan
-Sinumang humanap sa Dios,Siya ay mkakasumpong
-Walang sayang ang anumang ipinunlang salita
-walang salita ng Dios na walang balik,LAGING may balik at kabuluhan.
-Ang kabutihan ay hndi sapat pra makuha nya ang kaligtasan kundi tanging pagsuko at pagkilala sa Panginoong HesuKristo
-Walang diskriminasyon,ito'y para sa lahat

**Dahil sa paghahanap at pakikinig ni Cornelio,natagpuan nya ang ebanghelyo, ipinahanap nya c Pedro na siyang nagpaliwanag sa knya ng ebanghelyo na hndi sapat ang good works

Kung hahanapin mo ang Panginoon,mkakasumpong ka.

Hindi Siya ngtatangi,Judio o Hentil ka man ,anumang lahi,nais ng Diyos na maabot ang lahat upang maligtas.

“Alalahanin mo ang iyong Maylalang sa mga araw ng iyong kabataan…”

👉 Paalala na habang bata pa, dapat na nating kilalanin at sundin ang Diyos bago dumating ang panahong mahirap na.

Habang bata pa , ito ang pinakamagandang panahon para makilala ang Panginoon, maglingkod sa Kanya, at ihanda ang ating buhay ayon sa Kanyang kalooban. Ang kabataan ay hindi hadlang—ito ay oportunidad para magsimula ng matibay na relasyon sa Diyos.

"Living in God’s Household / The Morning After"
Scripture Reference: Luke 15:11-32

The message transitions from the beautiful moment of returning to God (The Prodigal Son) to the practical reality of living as a member of God’s household.

1. The Foundation: Radical Grace
The story begins with the familiar image of the Prodigal Son. It reminds us that no matter how far we stray or how prideful we become, God is a Father who:
• Welcomes us with open arms if we run to Him.
• Offers mercy to those who humble themselves.
• Grants us a second chance to change because we are His children.

2. The Concept: "The Morning After"
While the celebration of the son’s return is beautiful, the Christian journey doesn't end there. "The Morning After" represents the shift from celebration to responsibility.
• Being a son or daughter of the King comes with a "5:00 AM knock at the door"—a call to duty, a call to ministry.

3. The Mission: Living the Life of Christ
To be "in Christ" means more than just enjoying His presence; it means sharing His mission.
• The Example of Jesus: He lived not for personal comfort, but to serve and glorify the Father.
• The Exchange: When we receive Christ, we receive His priorities and His assignments.

4. The Heart of Ministry
Ministry is stewardship - faithfully managing what God has placed in our hands, so His glory is revealed through our lives.
• 1 Peter 4:10-11, ”As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.“

• Gifts: Whatever gift you have, use it for His honor.
• Desire & Presence: Your willingness to show up and your commitment are what truly matter.
• Motivation: We serve not out of heavy obligation, but out of a genuine love for the Lord.

Key Takeaway: We are welcomed by grace, but we stay for the mission. Our life in God's household is defined by a heart that is ready to wake up and serve the Father simply because we love Him.

"BUHAY PAGLILINGKOD NI ESTEBAN"

Esteban- isa sa 7 pinili upang maglingkod

Katangian ni Esteban

•siya ay puspos ng pananampalataya, •puspos ng karunungan galing sa Panginoon
•puspos ng Espiritu Santo.
*Not just the leaders must be filled with the Holy Spirit but every believers must.
*False teacher
-teaching false gospel (kulto)
Galatians 1:6 -sumpain ang nagtuturo/mangaral ng ibang ebanghelyo

Mahahalagang Aral👇
1. Ang tunay na lingkod ay may magandang patotoo (6:3,5)
-Good testimony
-Hindi sapat ang kakayahan lang!
-mahalaga ang character at spiritual life.

2. Ginagamit ng Diyos kahit sa simpleng gawain ( 6:2-3)
-Nagsimula siya sa paglilingkod sa pangangailangan ng iba.
*Ang “maliit” na ministry ay daan sa mas malaking paggamit ng Diyos.

3. Ang puspos ng Espiritu ay may kapangyarihan at karunungan (6:8,10)
-Hindi siya matalo sa pakikipagtalo dahil sa karunungan na galing sa Espiritu.
(Acts 1:8)
*Ang tunay na lakas sa ministry ay hindi sa talino lang, kundi sa Espiritu Santo.

4. Ang pagsunod sa Diyos ay maaaring magdala ng pagtutol/pag-usig( 6:11–13)
Si Esteban ay siniraan at pinaratangan ng mali.
*Kung tama ang ginagawa mo, hindi ibig sabihin walang opposition.
*Believers/Servants are meant to be persecuted.

5. Matapang na pagtayo sa katotohanan
( Mga Gawa 7)
-Buong tapang niyang ipinahayag ang kasaysayan ng Israel at itinuro ang kanilang pagkakamali.
*Ang lingkod ng Diyos ay dapat hindi takot magsalita ng katotohanan, kahit mahirap.

6. Ang puso ng tao ay maaaring maging matigas (7:51)
“Matigas ang inyong ulo…”
*Kahit malinaw ang katotohanan, may mga taong tatanggi pa rin.

7. Ang pananaw sa langit ay nagbibigay lakas sa gitna ng paghihirap( 7:55–56)
Nakita ni Esteban ang kaluwalhatian ng Diyos at si Jesus.
•Kapag ang focus natin ay eternal (langit), nagiging matatag tayo sa pagsubok.

8. Kapatawaran kahit sa gitna ng sakit(7:60)
“Panginoon, huwag mo silang papanagutin sa kasalanang ito.”
•Ang tunay na Kristiyano ay marunong magpatawad kahit nasasaktan.

9. Ang tapat hanggang kamatayan ay may gantimpala( 7:59–60)
-Si Esteban ang unang martir.
•Ang buhay na inialay sa Diyos ay hindi sayang—may eternal reward.

Sikapin at hilingin natin mkapamuhay ng katulad kay Esteban.
Palabasin ang mga naimbak na salita ng Diyos sa iyong puso't isipan.
