Winning was never about standing on a stage, holding a title, or being recognized by people. Winning, for us, is standing firm in faith and choosing to sing for the Almighty God even when the journey is heavy, even when our hearts feel tired, and even when our own voices tremble with doubt.
This journey was filled with hardships, moments when we felt down, misunderstood, gaslighted by others and even times when we questioned our own worth and ability. There were days when giving up felt easier than pushing forward. But through it all, we were reminded that our purpose was never to please people, but to glorify God through our praise. Every note we sang was not for applause, but as an offering raw, honest and surrendered.
To our beloved elders and officers, thank you for your unwavering guidance, prayers, patience and trust. You believed in us even when we struggled to believe in ourselves. To our trainer, thank you for your dedication, discipline and sacrifices. Without your guidance, encouragement and persistence, this choir would never have reached the national stage. Your commitment shaped not just our voices, but our hearts and character.
This is just the beginning for us to improve and grow not only as a choir, but as servants of God. There is still so much to learn, so much refining to be done, and so many opportunities ahead for us to use our voices to uplift, inspire, and bring others closer to Him. We embrace every correction, every challenge, and every lesson as part of the process that God is using to mold us.
May we always remember why we started, who we are singing for, and whose glory we represent. This journey is far from over, and with God at the center, we move forward stronger, united, and fully surrendered. VIVA AREA 2, AREA 3, and AREA 6❤️🙏🏻
