When chaos disrupts our peace and tensions run high, it is easy to mistake the storm for Godโ€™s absence. Paano kaya tayo magiging 'Good Steward' ni Lord?

Sa John 12:1-8, ibinuhos ni Mary ang isang napakamahal na pabango sa paa ni Jesus. Maraming nagtanong kung bakit niya ginawa ito; para sa iba ay sayang yung pabango at dapat ibinenta niya na lang kapalit ng silver para ibigay sa mga mahihirap.

Hindi nag-hold back si Mary upang ibalik ang biyaya ni Jesus sa kanya. Marami sa atin ang nag-ddoubt sa mga resources natin kaya nahihiya tayo magbigay at mag-serve dahil feeling natin ay wala naman tayong kakayahan.

Sino nga ba si Jesus para sa iyo?

Maraming descriptions ang mundo para kay Jesus. Sa Matthew 16:13-20, tinanong ni Jesus ang kanyang mga disciples, "๐—ช๐—ต๐—ผ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐˜†๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐˜† ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜ ๐—œ ๐—ฎ๐—บ?" Ang sagot naman nila ay pwede siyang maging sina John the Baptist, Elijah, o iba pang propeta

But then, Tinanong ulit sila ni Jesus, "But what about you? Who do you say I am?" Sumagot naman si Simon Peter, "๐—ฌ๐—ผ๐˜‚ ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐— ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฎ๐—ต, ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ฆ๐—ผ๐—ป ๐—ผ๐—ณ ๐˜๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—น๐—ถ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด ๐—š๐—ผ๐—ฑ."
Dito natin makikita na ang opinyon ng tao sa kung sino si Jesus ay magkaka-iba. Hindi dahil ito ang pagkakakilala nila Sa kanya ay ganoon na rin sa iyo.

Alam mo bang naririnig tayo ni Lord maging sa kabila ng ating mga pagkukulang?

May mga oras na hindi tayo naniniwala kay Lord kasi gusto natin makakita muna ng blessings o proofs. Madalas, maraming nakakaalala lang sakanya tuwing sa oras lang ng kahirapan. But then, God loves you and me so much that he gives chances.

Sa Matthew 15:21-28, isang unbeliever ang nagmakaawa kay Jesus na pagalingin ang kanyang anak na hindi agad pinagbigyan ni Jesus. Kadalasan, we expect an 'instant yes' from Him. But the woman showed otherwise; she didn't take Jesus' response as an offense. Instead, she showed humility in her actions and words. She had faith that her child will be healed in Jesus name!

With this, He gave her a chance, healed her child, and even said "Woman, you gave great faith!".

Totoo ang problema na mayroon ang bawa't pamilya but God's grace is overflowing. Katulad sa story ng family ni Jacob- favoritism and separation caused anger that led to bitterness.

"I've hoped and forgave but nothing happened." often torments us. Truth be told that we cannot fix everything, but we can ask God to help us.
