Christlike Leadership That Impacts the Church and the World
Rev. David Mark Pestaรฑo
"Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 5:15-16).
When we think of leadership, our minds often turn to titles, platforms, or authority. But Jesus redefined what it means to lead. รn His Kingdom, leadership isn't about position; it's about impact. It's about how the light God has placed within us touches the people around us. True leadership is lived out in daily faithfulness, good works, and a life that quietly but consistently points others to God. i
The church today is brimming with talent, creativity, and passion, especially among young people. What it needs most are leaders whose lives direct others toward Christ. Leaders who don't just speak about Jesus, but lead like Him with humility, service, and love.
The church does not need more famous leaders. It needs faithful ones-leaders who reflect Christ in their character, not just their charisma. True Kingdom leadership isn't measured by how many follow you, but by how faithfully you follow Him.
Christlike Leadership
Jesus is our ultimate model of leadership If we desire to make a meaningful impact in the church and the world, we must first understand how He led:
