In the midst of hectic schedules, endless responsibilities, and constant demands, itโ€™s easy to lose sight of what truly matters. Our days become so full of noise and pressure that we forget to pause and reflect. We move from one task to another, thinking we have everything under control, yet deep inside we feel tired and disconnected.

Still, no matter how far we drift, there is always a way back to Him. Even when life feels overwhelming, His presence remains steady and unchanging. He does not turn away when we get distracted by the world. Instead, He patiently waits for us to return.

His love does not weaken because of our busyness. His grace does not fade because of our mistakes. In the middle of the chaos, His peace gently calls us home. When everything feels heavy, He becomes the refuge our hearts are searching for.

Turning back to Him is not about perfection; it is about surrender. It is in that surrender that we find strength, clarity, and rest. We are reminded that we were never meant to carry everything alone. No matter how lost we may feel at times, we are never truly lost โ€” because He is always there, ready to welcome us home.

SASCENNโ€™s Sundown worship

"More of God, Less of Meโ€

โ€œIn a world of shifting tides, anchor your soul in purpose; let your deeds rise from the purity of intention. Let every thought and effort rest not in self, but in the boundless grace of Godโ€”allowing His love to guide, His mercy to sustain, and His purpose to become our strength.

This idea of resting, surrendering and letting God lead comes to life each week during the Sabbath. When the sun sets on Friday, it's a signal to stop working and worrying. It's like hitting a "pause" button on our own busyness to make room for God. This special day of rest reminds us that God is in control, not us. It's a time to truly relax and recharge, trusting that He has everything handled.

So, as we face another week let us focus less on ourselves, and make more room for God's goodness. And when we let go, we find a real and lasting peace.
