PRAYER FOR MINDANAO | Mahigugmaon ug maluloy-on nga Diyos,

Nagpasalamat kami Kanimo sa Imong walay kinutuban nga kaayo, gugma, ug pagkamatinud-anon. Bisan taliwala sa mga pagsulay ug kalisdanan, Ikaw nagpabilin nga among kusog, dangpanan, ug paglaum.

Karon, nangamuyo kami Kanimo nga puno sa kasubo ug paglaum. Among isalig Kanimo ang among mga igsuon sa General Santos ug mga silingang lugar sa Mindanao nga naapektuhan sa 7.8 magnitude nga linog.

Tabangi sila sa ilang kasakit, ubani sila sa ilang kahadlok ug kalisod. Lig-ona ang mga samaran, hupaya ang mga nagbangutan, ug hatagi og paglaum ang mga nawad-an og balay, panginabuhian, ug kalinaw sa hunahuna.

Giyahi ang mga awtoridad, mga rescuers, ug mga boluntaryo. Hatagi sila og kusog, kaluwasan, ug hustong panabot aron makatabang sila sa mga nanginahanglan.

Puno og pagtuo, amo isalig kanimo ang tibuok Pilipinas—nga sa panahon sa kalamidad, magpabilin ang pagkahiusa, pagtinabangay, ug kalig-on sa matag Pilipino.

O Ginoo, ipabati mo unta kanila ang Imong presensya sa taliwala niining kalisod, ug hinaot nga ang Imong panalipod ug kaayohan magpabilin kanunay. Itugot nga pinaagi sa Imong grasya, makabangon sila nga adunay bag-ong paglaum, kalig-on, ug pagsalig Kanimo.

Kini among gipangayo pinaagi ni Jesucristo, imong Anak, among Ginoo, nga buhi ug hari uban Kanimo diha sa panaghiusa sa Espiritu Santo, Dios hangtud sa kahangturan. Amen.

Our very own youth servers of St. Rose of Lima Parish as newly elected officials of South East Ecclesiastical Youth Coordinating Council.
Mary Keith D'los Santos, the new assistant coordinator and Aile Reeve, the new temporalities chairperson. Together, they take courage and use their roles to step up and give hope not just to the youth of our parish but to the youth of the whole district.

We give our warmest appreciation to our parish youth for representing the Municipality of Alcoy for the ABTIK Leaders Camp 2026.

Rabby , the hardworking Auditor of Parish Youth Coordinationg Council and Aliyah , a proud member of Novas Voces Chorus et Voces Angelicae, a youth choir of the parish.

These two dreamers aspire to be a trailblazer of unity and a pilgrim of hope for the youth of Alcoy. They always hold their heads up high everywhere they go. Hardships may occur but their faith to God and their passion to serve is unwavering.

Walay makapugong sa mga kabatan onan ni Santa Rosa. Bisag asa, gipakita ang pagka maayo, di lang sa simbahan kung dili sa tibuok sugbo. Padayon!

YOUTH IN ACTION!

Something beautiful is blooming in our chapel! Our youth are officially in action, coming together with hearts full of faith and hands ready to serve.

Guided by our dedicated chapel leaders and the wisdom of our catechists, our young servants are currently busy crafting the "Ave Maria" for the upcoming Flores de Mayo. It’s more than just a preparation, it’s a labor of love and a testament to the vibrant spirit of our local community.

To see the next generation taking the lead in honoring our Blessed Mother is truly inspiring. We aren't just the future of the Church, we are the NOW of God!

STATE OF THE ARCHDIOCESE ADDRESS | In celebration of the 92nd Anniversary of Cebu as an Archdiocese, Cebu Archbishop Alberto “Abet” Uy, now in his seventh month of shepherding the Archdiocese, will present to the Cebuano faithful the current state of the local Church.

Anchored in the spirit of synodality, walking together as one People of God, this address will highlight the Archdiocese’s journey of communion, participation, and mission. It will also look ahead with hope as the Church in Cebu continues its journey toward its centennial anniversary as an Archdiocese.

This meaningful occasion will take place on April 28, 2026, beginning with a Holy Mass at 4:00 PM, followed by the Address at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.
