Thanksgiving and Tribute Program: Part 2 & 3
Following the Misa Cantada was the Thanksgiving and Tribute Program honoring the Rt. Rev. Jonash Arazo Joyohoy in his first Eucharistic celebration with the IFI community of IFI Parish of Alcantara, Cebu as a bishop.
The gathering truly resembled a joyful reunion, where members of the local government and the church community came together with one shared message - solidarity and support for a beloved son who has devoted his life to shepherding God’s people. More than a calling, his journey reflects a life of sacrifice, service, and faithful guidance to his flock.
The event was filled with meaningful and heartfelt messages that echoed the pride, gratitude, and admiration of the people who have journeyed with Bishop Joyohoy from his childhood years to this significant chapter of his life. The giving of symbolic gifts also added value to how thoughtfulness are expressed towards the new Bp.
Touching testimonials were shared by family members, relatives, friends, high school batchmates, representatives of the local government unit, and key leaders of the IFI community from the parish to the diocesan level.
