“The Cost of Following Jesus” | Luke 14:25–33

Following Jesus is not just about believing it’s about surrender, sacrifice, and commitment.

1. Following Jesus Requires Supreme Devotion — Si Jesus dapat ang number one sa puso natin.

2. Discipleship Requires Dying to Self — Ang pagsunod kay Cristo means letting go of pride, selfish desires, at mga bagay na humahadlang sa faith natin.

3. Faithfulness Requires Long-Term Commitment — Hindi lang strong sa simula, kundi faithful hanggang dulo.

Hindi lang tanong na “Naniniwala ka ba kay Jesus?” kundi, “Handa ka bang sumunod kahit may kapalit?”

Today’s preaching was a needed reminder for all of us. Through Hebrews 12:2, our Pastor taught us that staying focused in faith is not about having a perfect life. it’s about keeping our eyes on the perfect Savior.

There will always be distractions, discouragements, delays, temptations, and battles that try to pull us away from our walk with God. But when Jesus becomes our focus, we gain strength to continue, wisdom to endure, and peace to keep moving forward.

May we never lose sight of the One who called us.Keep running the race. Keep trusting God. Keep looking unto Jesus.
