Since 1921, Christmas Institute has stood as a cornerstone of the United Methodist Youth Fellowship in the Philippines. An enduring space where the youth gather in faith, fellowship, and purpose. This year, we take another step forward with BANYUHAY, a call to transformation and a renewed way of life.

From last year’s growth in Sibol, we now embrace a deeper metamorphosis. Like caterpillars becoming butterflies, we are invited to undergo a sacred change towards a life of spiritual renewal, forgiveness, love, and discernment.

With one goal of building a brighter future, the 𝐀𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝑼𝑴𝒀𝐅 extended a helping hand as they joined the 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐚 𝐄𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 of three High Schools in our town, 𝘾anarvacanan 𝗡𝗛𝗦, 𝘾ipriano 𝗣. 𝗣rimicias 𝗡𝗛𝗦, and 𝙎an 𝗣edro 𝘼partado 𝗡𝗛𝗦. They helped in preparing the school for another year of learning and growth. May our efforts be guided by faith and love. 🙏

𝑴𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒓𝒂𝒘 𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒚𝒂𝒂𝒏,𝑷𝒊𝒍𝒊𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒔 🇵🇭

Ang United Methodist Youth Fellowship in the Philippines (UMYFP) ay buong pusong nakikiisa sa sambayanang Pilipino sa paggunita at pagdiriwang ng ika-127 na Araw ng Kalayaan ng Pilipinas.

Ngayong araw, ipinapaalala sa atin na ang tunay na kalayaan ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa pagiging malaya mula sa dayuhang pananakop, kundi sa patuloy na pakikibaka para sa katarungan, pagkakapantay-pantay, at kapayapaan para sa lahat.

Bilang mga kabataang Kristiyano, tinatawag tayo na maging tagapagtaguyod ng makatarungang lipunan. Isang lipunang may malasakit, may respeto sa karapatang pantao, at may matibay na paninindigan para sa kabutihang panlahat.

Sa diwa ng pagkakaisa at pananampalataya, nawa’y manatili tayong tapat sa diwa ng kalayaan at magsilbing liwanag ng pag-asa para sa isa't-isa.

Even if we don't want to let go yet and see 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙙 of a conference year (2024 - 2025), the new conference year (2025 - 2026) reminds us of 𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 and of the beautiful opportunities that we are to look forward to - new chances, new experiences, new knowledge.

Let's pray for a prosperous, productive, and progressive conference year. Let's do good and do it for the glory of the Lord as we go to know more of Christ and to make Him known. Let's walk together as 𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 - for Christ, by Christ, through Christ, and with Christ.
