NIGHT OF POWER | 08.27.26

Yesterday’s Night of Power reminded us through the exhortation of Bro. Eduardo Alvaro that even in the storms of life, Jesus remains our hope.

From Mark 6:45–52, we were reminded that Jesus sees our struggles, meets us in the middle of the storm, and gives us courage to keep going. The storms may test our faith, but they can also help us know Him deeper and trust Him more.

As we worshiped, the Lord moved powerfully, stirring our hearts and making us fearless warriors who choose to trust God even in the midst of difficulties. Whatever we face, we can stand firm knowing that Jesus is with us.

Through every storm, our hope is Jesus. 🙏

See you again next Friday at 6:30 PM at JIL Poblacion West, Alcala, Pangasinan!

1st & 2nd Service | 08.23.26

During our First and Second Service today, Ptr. Marcelo Dela Cruz Jr. shared a message about Zacchaeus, the man who climbed a sycamore tree just to get a glimpse of Jesus.

Zacchaeus was a tax collector and was hated by many. He was also a short man, which was why he climbed the tree because he knew he might not be able to see Jesus through the crowd.

But Zacchaeus was also a man who was hungry for the Lord. His heart was ready to receive Jesus into his home and be transformed by Him.

Through his life, Ptr. Marcelo preached that we can draw near to God like Zacchaeus by having a deep desire and hunger for the Lord, by making an effort to seek Him, and by practicing restitution, making things right and asking for forgiveness, as a truly transformed person would do.

We may sometimes feel too small, too broken, or too undeserving to come near to Jesus. But just as Jesus said in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

May we never forget that no matter where we have been or what we have done, Jesus is willing to meet us when we sincerely seek Him.

Thank you for joining us!

NIGHT OF POWER | 08.21.26

Bro. Brian Eclipse shared an exhortation from the book of John Chapter 6, reminding us that the everything we are now and everything that we have is all about Jesus. We owe everything to Him.

He shared some of the key events in John 6, from Jesus feeding the 5,000 with only five barley loaves and two small fishes, to Jesus walking on water. He also reminded us that Jesus is the bread from heaven, greater than the manna given in the wilderness. When Jesus declared that He is the Bread of Life, He showed us that our salvation and eternity are found in Him alone.

Bro. Eduard Alvaro Jr. then led us into an intimate time of worship, followed by a series of prayers led by Sis. Gina Almirol, Sis. Jennylyn Eclipse, and Sis. Kemelyn Monegas.

Ptr. Marcelo Dela Cruz Jr. also led an altar call for those who feel called by the Lord but are afraid to answer because they do not feel qualified.

May we all remember that when God calls us for a purpose, He is also the One who will equip and guide us. At the end of the day, it is all because of Him that we are able to do the things we are called to do.

Thanks for joining us and see you again next Friday at JIL Alcala, San Juan!
