Hosanna sa Anak ni David! 🌿

As Holy Week begins, we remember how the crowds welcomed Jesus with joy, laying down their cloaks and palm branches, crying out, “Hosanna!”—“Save us now.” (Matthew 21:9)

May this week draw us closer to Him in quiet reflection, sincere repentance, and to be reminded that the cross is heavy but His love is heavier.

This is to inform everyone of the official schedule of activities for the upcoming Semana Santa. All parishioners are respectfully encouraged to actively participate in each activity as a way of honoring and reflecting on the suffering, death, and glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Niining panahon sa Kwaresma, ang atong Parokya adunay Estasyon sa Krus isip usa ka pagpamalandong sa Pasyon ug Kamatayon sa atong Ginoong Hesukristo.

📍 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘀 – Ang Estasyon sa Krus pagabuhaton sulod sa simbahan, magsugod sa alas 4:00 sa hapon, ug pagasundan dayon sa Santos nga Misa.

📍 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗴 𝗦𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗼 – Ang Estasyon sa Krus pagahimoon gawas sa simbahan, magsugod gihapon sa alas 4:00 sa hapon, ug wala nay Misa pagkahuman.

Gidasig ug gi-awhag ang tanang parokyano sa pag-apil niining Estasyon sa Krus isip pagpakig-ambit sa pag-antos sa atong Ginoong Hesukristo.

𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 | 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙂𝙤𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙡

February 21, 2026, the ministries of Sto. Niño Parish gathered for a Parish Recollection focused on the Lenten call: “Repent and Believe in the Gospel.”

The recollection master was Rev. Fr. Felix Ebacitas, who thoughtfully guided the participants in examining their hearts, renewing their commitment to Christ, and embracing the true meaning of repentance as a continual turning back to God.

The recollection highlighted that authentic ministry flows from a personal encounter with Christ. Before we serve at the altar, in the choir, in leadership, or in any apostolate, we must first allow ourselves to be renewed by God’s mercy. In embracing the Gospel, we are invited to live lives marked by obedience to God’s will, charity toward one another, and steadfast faith amid trials.

Today, we observe Ash Wednesday, marking the beginning of the Lenten Season. It is a time for us to pause, reflect, and return to the Lord with all our hearts. As we receive the ashes, may we be reminded of our call to prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
