The recently concluded Conference on God’s Sovereignty and Human Responsibility was successfully held with the gracious participation of brethren and churches from different parts of Leyte and Samar. It was a meaningful gathering centered on the biblical truth of God’s absolute sovereignty and the responsibility of man before Him. The conference provided an opportunity for churches to fellowship, learn from God’s Word, and be reminded that in all things, God remains sovereign and worthy of our complete trust and obedience.
We were blessed by the participation and representation of the following churches and brethren:
📌Aleteia Gospel Church – San Julian, Eastern Samar, through Ptr. Jun Delda
📌World Christian Fellowship – Marabut, Western Samar, through Ptr. Derek Johns
📌Metro Ormoc Reformed Bible Church – Ormoc City, through Bro. Roberto Martinez
📌Reformed Baptist Center – Tacloban City, through Ptr. Dennis Ojales
📌Kerusso Bible Community – Sta. Fe, through Bro. Avihn Acido
📌Kerusso Bible Community – Alangalang, through Sis. Angie Jomadiao
📌Reformed Baptist Mission – Sua Island, Daram, Western Samar
📌Arise and Shine Community Church – Leyte, through Ptr. Rey Entana, Ptr. Jeffrey Avila, and Ptr. Ricky Escarda
📌Zion Christian Fellowship – Alangalang, represented by the brethren
📌Brethren from Tarangnan, Western Samar
📌Reformed Baptist Church of Abuyog, through Ptr. Jovert L. Vasquez
📌Grace and Truth Reformed Church of Alangalang, through Ptr. Hairon Matiga
The gathering was not merely an occasion for theological discussion but also a beautiful expression of Christian fellowship among churches from Leyte and Samar. It reminded us of the importance of standing together upon the truth of Scripture, encouraging one another in the faith, and proclaiming the greatness of our sovereign God.
We praise God that the conference was conducted successfully, according to His sovereign will and gracious providence. Whatever blessings, encouragement, understanding, and fellowship were experienced throughout the conference are ultimately gifts from Him. We therefore give all glory, honor, and praise to God alone.
Soli Deo Gloria — To God alone be the glory!
