“And now why tarriest thou? Arise, and be baptized.” — Acts 22:16

Last Sunday was a beautiful day as we witnessed Alexa, a young single adult, make the sacred covenant of baptism and become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

We rejoice with Alexa as she begins this new chapter of faith, hope, and discipleship. May the Holy Ghost continue to guide and strengthen her as she walks the covenant path and grows closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Welcome to the Alaminos Ward family, Alexa! We love you and are excited to support you on your journey of faith. 💙✨

There is no age limit to following Jesus Christ.

Last Saturday, our hearts were filled with joy as Helaman, Jeremiah, Charice, and Imelda entered the waters of baptism and made sacred covenants with Heavenly Father. Their examples remind us that the invitation to come unto Christ is extended to everyone—young and old alike.

We celebrate this special milestone with them and pray that they will continue to feel the Savior's love, the guidance of the Holy Ghost, and the strength that comes from walking the covenant path.

Congratulations, Helaman, Jeremiah, Charice, and Imelda! Your Alaminos Ward family loves you and is grateful to walk this journey of faith with you.

Happy Father's Day to all the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who faithfully lead, love, and serve their families.

We honor the righteous influence of fathers who strive to follow the example of our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Through their sacrifices, guidance, faith, and unconditional love, they help strengthen homes and build lasting legacies of discipleship.

We are grateful for the fathers who teach by example, serve with humility, and nurture their families with patience and devotion. May the Lord bless you for all that you do.

What a wonderful and uplifting Saturday it was as members of the Alaminos Ward came together to learn, share, and strengthen our efforts in helping others come unto Christ.

Led by our ward missionaries, this special gathering brought together members of the Elders Quorum, Relief Society, and Youth, reminding us that missionary work is not just the responsibility of a few—it is a blessing and opportunity for all of us. Through our simple acts of love, friendship, service, and testimony, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around us.

We are grateful for everyone who attended and participated. The spirit of unity, faith, and enthusiasm was truly felt as we discussed ways we can work together in the Lord’s work and support those who are seeking truth and hope.

As we continue to follow the Savior’s example, may we always be willing to reach out, invite, and share the joy of the gospel with others.

“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” — Matthew 5:14

✨ Together, we can help light the way for others to come unto Christ.

Their decision to follow Jesus Christ through the covenant of baptism is a beautiful testament of faith, courage, and commitment. We rejoice with them as they begin this new chapter in their discipleship journey and continue to draw closer to our Savior.

We are grateful for everyone who supported and participated in making this sacred occasion meaningful and memorable. May our newly baptized brothers and sister continue to feel the love of Heavenly Father and the strength that comes from walking the covenant path.
