God Is Our Provision
🙏🙏🙏
Verse: Philippians 4:19
“And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

Friends, today’s reminder is simple: God sees what we need, and He provides.
He’s not just the God who gave food in the wilderness or a ram for Abraham. He’s our God today.

When we feel anxious or unsure, this verse reminds us that our needs are not too big for Him. He provides through people, through open doors, through peace in our hearts, and most of all, through Jesus.

So let’s pause for 30 seconds. Think of one need you’re carrying today. Then thank God out loud or silently for one way He’s already provided for you before.

Prayer together:🙏🙏🙏
Lord, You are our Provider. Thank You for every need You’ve met in the past, and for the ones You’re meeting now. Help us to trust You today instead of worrying. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The will of God for your life isn’t a secret code to crack. Scripture lays it out clearly - it’s mostly about who you become and how you live, not just what job you take or where you go.

Here’s the core of it:

1. To be saved and know Jesus
God’s primary will is relationship. He wants you with Him, not distant.

1 Timothy 2:3-4
“This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

2. To be made holy / sanctified
God cares more about your character than your circumstances. He wants sin broken off your life so you reflect Christ.

1 Thessalonians 4:3
“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality.”
Romans 12:2
“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

3. To rejoice, pray, and give thanks in everything
Gratitude and dependence keep your heart aligned with Him, even in hard seasons.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

4.To do good and trust Him with suffering
When life doesn’t make sense, God’s will is that you keep doing right and trust Him.

1 Peter 2:15
“For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people.”

1 Peter 4:19
“Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.”

5. To make disciples and live on mission
You’re saved to be part of His work in the world.

Matthew 28:19-20
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

How this works practically:
1. Start with what’s clear:
If you’re not obeying the verses above, God won’t usually reveal the “next step” yet. Holiness, prayer, gratitude, and sharing Jesus come first.

2. Wisdom + counsel + peace.
For decisions not directly in Scripture, God guides through His Word, godly counsel, and the peace of the Spirit.

3.Trust Him with the details Romans 8:28 -
He works all things for the good of those who love Him.

God’s will is that you know Jesus, become like Jesus, and make Jesus known.

Bible verses about water baptism:

1. Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

This is Jesus’ command right before He ascended. Baptism is part of making disciples, done in the name of the Trinity.

2. Acts 2:38
“Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

Peter connects repentance, baptism, and receiving the Spirit. It’s a public step after deciding to follow Christ.

3. Romans 6:4
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too might walk in newness of life.”

Baptism symbolizes dying to the old life and rising with Christ to a new one. That’s why full immersion fits the picture.

4. Mark 1:9-11
“In those days Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan... And a voice came from heaven, ‘You are my beloved Son; with you I am well pleased.’”

Even Jesus was baptized to fulfill righteousness. It sets the example for believers.

5. 1 Peter 3:21
“Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

It’s not the water that cleans, but what it represents—faith in Christ’s resurrection and a clean conscience before God.

Outdoor fellowship with Christian brothers and sisters.

1. Hebrews 10:24-25
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another.”

It’s about gathering to encourage each other, which is exactly what a church outing is for.

2. Acts 2:46-47
“And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people.”

The early church fellowshipped daily, ate together, and did life together with joy. Perfect for a family outing atmosphere.

3. Psalm 133:1
“Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!”

Short, powerful, and sets the tone for unity among believers.

4. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow.”

Fellowship strengthens us. Even outdoors, it’s a reminder we’re not meant to walk alone.

5. Romans 12:10
"Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”

It Captures the heart of Christian fellowship—family love and mutual honor.

Shared Prayer for the Philippines

Prayer for the
Philippines

Our Heavenly Father,
We lift up the Philippines to You during this time of deep division and political shifting.

In a landscape often clouded by the noise of transition, impeachment, and the clashing of powers, we ask for a clarity that transcends partisanship.

We pray for those in positions of leadership in the halls of Congress, the Senate, and the Judiciary that they may be guided by an unwavering commitment to the truth.

Let the processes of accountability be handled with integrity, free from personal vendetta or political convenience.

We remember those who have no voice: the marginalized, the victims of violence, and those seeking redress for past wrongs.

May the scales of justice be balanced for the smallest among us, just as they are for the powerful.

Lead us in Righteousness.
Stir the hearts of the Filipino people to seek what is right over what is easy.

Protect the nation from the erosion of trust and the bitterness of rifts.

We pray for public servants to be moved by a genuine spirit of stewardship, remembering that their mandate is to serve the common good, not to preserve their own influence.

Grant them the courage to act with honor, even when the political tide pulls in the opposite direction.

Bestow upon us Peace.
Calm the tensions that threaten our communities. Amidst the threats of instability and the heat of legislative trials, let a spirit of sobriety and non-violence prevail.

Help us to find common ground in our shared love for the motherland, bridging the gaps between factions and families.

May our peace be more than just the absence of conflict—may it be a peace built on the solid foundation of transparency and mutual respect.

Bless the Philippines, its leaders, and its people.

May we emerge from this crucible stronger, more united, and ever dedicated to the pursuit of a nation where every Filipino can live in dignity and security.

In Jesus’ name:
Amen.
