Our boats may be fragile, but the One who is with us in the boat is not. As we face challenges and uncertainties, may we learn to trust Jesus rather than depend on our own strength, knowing that no storm is greater than the One who is with us.

Real security in life is not found in the strength of our boat, but in the presence of the One who rides with us.

Through today’s Sabbath message from Sister Patt Pagay, based on Mark 4:35–41, we were reminded that it’s not about the storms we face or how big of a boat we build, rather, it is all about who is in the boat with us. Sometimes, obedience leads us straight into trials because God is far more interested in growing our faith than merely preserving our comfort. In the same way, storms quickly reveal our human limits, reminding us never to rely on our own strength. And when God empty our hands, only He can fill our hearts.

This miracle was never just about calming the sea, but about revealing Jesus as the true Lord of creation. Therefore, let us stop looking at how big our problems are and stop trying to build a bigger boat. Instead, let us turn our eyes to Jesus, the true and the only source of our hope.

As we go through every storm, may this Sabbath renew our faith and bring us peace, knowing that Jesus is always with us.

The call to seek God’s kingdom first begins with a heart that is fully surrendered to Him.

Through today’s sabbath message, the Characteristics of a Lukewarm Christian, we were reminded to examine our spiritual lives and guard against attitudes that draw us away from Christ—neglecting God, prioritizing worldly pursuits, inconsistency in worship, reluctance in giving and serving, self-centeredness, gossip, fault-finding, and fear of commitment.

May the words of Matthew 6:33 continually guide our lives: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” May this Sabbath strengthen our faith, renew our commitment, and inspire us to live wholeheartedly for God.
