Where Faith Becomes Action, and Love Creates a Future.

KARETON NI MARIA is more than an outreach activity—it is a mission that brings faith, education, nourishment, and hope closer to our children and communities.

Inspired by Mary who carried Christ and went forth in love, we too go beyond the walls of our parish—to places where children need not only food, but knowledge, guidance, faith, and someone who believes in their future.

• We teach through literacy, catechesis, Bible stories, and values formation.
• We nourish both body and spirit through meals shared with love.
• We empower children through books, learning, and opportunities to dream.
• We build a community where faith is not simply taught, but lived through service and compassion.

Every book shared, every lesson taught, every meal served, and every prayer offered is a seed of hope planted in a young heart.

And as we continue KARETON NI MARIA, may we remember: we are not simply bringing to the children—we are helping build the people they can become.

MARY FOR YOU 5: JOURNEY WITH MARY

A Marian Celebration in Honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary

With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Jaro, in cooperation with the Cofradia de la Virgen Maria en Panay, Catholic faithful, Marian devotees, families, parish communities, religious organizations, and people of goodwill, gathered today, September 8, 2026, for MARY FOR YOU 5: JOURNEY WITH MARY.

The celebration became a beautiful expression of faith and Marian devotion as hundreds of faithful joined the Solemn Foot Procession from San Jose Placer Parish to the Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral, offering prayers and intentions while journeying together in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary on her Nativity.

A special moment of grace and joy was also experienced by the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima – Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo, as we celebrated the Segunda Salida of the Our Lady of Good Harvest, bringing her presence into this grand Marian celebration and joining fellow devotees in this meaningful journey of faith.

Guided by this year’s theme:

“Upod kay Maria: Buhi nga ‘Huo,’ Manugdala sang Kapawa ni Kristo.”

we were reminded that Mary’s “Huo”—her humble YES to God—continues to inspire us to become faithful disciples and bearers of Christ’s Light in our families, communities, and the world.

The day culminated in the Eucharistic Celebration at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Candles – Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral, presided by His Grace, Most Rev. Medyphil B. Billones, D.D. In the Holy Eucharist, our journey with Mary ultimately became a journey toward her Son, Jesus Christ, the source and center of our faith.

Today, we walked together.
Today, we prayed together.
Today, we celebrated Mary together.
And today, we were once again reminded that every journey with Mary leads us closer to Jesus.

May the grace of this celebration remain in our hearts—not only as a beautiful memory, but as a renewed commitment to live our own “Huo” to God and to bring the Light of Christ wherever we are sent.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAMA MARY!

Today, September 8, 2026, the World Apostolate of Fatima – Philippines, Jaro Archdiocesan Division, Culasi Chapter joyfully joins the whole Church in celebrating the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary—the birthday of our beloved Mother.

With grateful hearts, we celebrate Mary’s beautiful “YES” to God, a humble response that became part of His plan of salvation. Through her faith, obedience, and love, she continues to lead us closer to Jesus Christ and inspires us to become bearers of His light.

🙏 Here in our parish, we will begin this special Marian celebration with the Holy Rosary at 6:00 AM, followed by Holy Mass and Floral Offering at 6:30 AM. Let us offer our prayers, thanksgiving, flowers, and love to Mama Mary on her special day.

Later today, our beloved Our Lady of Good Harvest from the Parish of Our Lady of Fatima – Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo will journey to Jaro to take part in the 5th Year of MARY FOR YOU: Journey with Mary, carrying with her the prayers and devotion of our parish community.

WAF PRAYER GROUP: A MINISTRY OF PRESENCE, PRAYER & COMPASSION

The World Apostolate of Fatima (WAF) Prayer Group continues to render their precious time, effort, and loving service by accompanying bereaved families in their moments of sorrow and loss.

Through prayer, catechesis, and words of comfort, our WAF members help strengthen the faith of grieving families and remind them that, even in the midst of pain, God’s love and presence remain with them.

This is our mission—not only to pray, but to be present; not only to teach, but to comfort; not only to serve, but to bring hope.

KARITON NI MARIA: A CONTINUING MISSION OF LEARNING, FAITH, AND HOPE

What began last month as a simple initiative in Purok Dolorosa, Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo has now become a continuing program of Our Lady of Fatima Parish – Culasi, bringing literacy, values formation, catechesis, and the loving presence of the Church closer to children in the community.

Kariton ni Maria is more than a cart—it is a mobile classroom and a mission of hope. Through reading, writing, storytelling, Bible lessons, good manners, and faith formation, the program seeks to help children develop not only their minds, but also their character and faith.

Leading this mission is our Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Rafael Luis L. Clavel, VF, who generously serves as their teacher and mentor. With patience, warmth, and dedication, he accompanies the children in their journey of learning and growth.

Together with him, the World Apostolate of Fatima (WAF) – Culasi Chapter generously renders their time, talents, and efforts, helping make every Saturday session meaningful, joyful, and enriching for the children.

The World Apostolate of Fatima (WAF) – Culasi Chapter began the day with grateful hearts and united in prayer, offering the Holy Rosary as our humble gift to Our Lady and entrusting our intentions to her Immaculate Heart.

Our prayerful morning continued with the Holy Mass, presided over by our beloved Parish Priest, Very Rev. Fr. Rafael Luis L. Clavel, VF. Through the Eucharist, we were once again strengthened and reminded that our devotion to Our Lady must always lead us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

Following the Holy Mass, we shared the Anointing of the Sick and a special moment of care and compassion for our elderly, accompanied by food feeding—a simple yet meaningful expression of our love and concern for our brothers and sisters.

We concluded the day with our WAF Regular Monthly Meeting, where officers and members gathered not only to discuss plans and programs but also to renew our commitment to the mission of Fatima: to pray, to make sacrifices, to live the Gospel, and to bring others closer to the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.

From prayer to service, from devotion to action—WAF Culasi Chapter continues to walk together in faith, love, and mission.

A CALL TO ALL MARIAN DEVOTEES AND PARISHIONERS

This First Saturday, let us gather as one faith community to honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary and draw closer to her Son, Jesus.

We warmly invite all Marian devotees, parishioners, families, and especially our elderly to join us in this beautiful celebration of prayer, healing, and Christian love.

5:30 AM — Dawn Rosary Procession
6:30 AM — Holy Mass, Anointing of the Sick & Food Feeding for the Elderly

Bring your parents. Bring your grandparents. Bring your elderly loved ones.
