MAKE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE: The Best of Your Life
Scripture Text: Matthew 6:33
Pastor Ardel Satam Postrano

"I have so many things to do today, I dare not ignore my time with God." - Martin Luther

How do you feel your life today? Is it worthwhile? What do you anticipate? Are you afraid or worried?

"We need to understand that God is more interested in our future than He is in the past. Forget the former things and look for new things."

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteous and all these things shall be added to you." - Matthew 6:33

You can make the rest of your life the best of your life by the following:
1. We must SET PROPER PRIORITIES ("seek ye first the kingdom of God...")
▫️If your priorities are not in order, your life will not be in order.
▫️Jesus told us what our priority ought to be, "seek ye first the kingdom of God..."
▫️In order to seek the kingdom, you must first seek the King.
▫️Seeking the kigdom of God means you are seeking these three things:
a. Seeking for the glory of the King
b. Seeking for the guidance of the King
c. Seeking for the governance of the King

2. We must SEEK PERSONAL PURITY ("...and His righteousness...")
▫️not only we are to seek His kingdom, we are to seek "God's righteousness"
▫️the kingdom of God is not only inwardly experienced but also to be outwardly expressed
Others ought to be able to see the kingdom in us. ▫️We are never going to make a difference in this world until the world sees a difference in us.
▫️The real mark of a Christian is that he makes it easier for others to believe in God.
a. We must desire it. (Matthew 5:6)
b. We must derive it. (Philippians 3:9)
c. We must depict it.
📍The bible uses the word "Righteousness" in two ways:
1. Judicial Righteousness - a right relationship with God.
2. Ethical Righteousness - right living before God.
▫️Righteousness must be imputed through faith and it can be imparted thru an ethical righteousness.

3. We must SEE PROMISED PROSPERITY (...and all these things will be added unto you.")
▫️What are we worried about? is it about finances, food, fitness, fashion, or about our future?
▫️The Lord promised that if you will seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, you will have all the things you need.
📍Things to ponder:
a. You don't need everything you want.
b. You don't want everything you need.
c. God doesn't give us everything we want.
d. God always give us what we need.
▫️"One of the greatest blessings of God is found in those things that He doesn't give us."
▫️"No matter what we think, if we don't want it, it's because God knows at this point in your life you don't need it."

"It is our job to seek God and His righteousness. It is our job to serve God. It is His job to supply us."

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies.” And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. - John 3:16; John 11:25; I John 5:11

HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎊

First Sunday Worship Service (January 5, 2025)

What can you give or offer to Jesus? Just like the Wise Men who offer Jesus gold, frankincense, and myrrh… you can too!
* Gold - what most precious to you
* Frankincense - the aroma of your life
* Myrrh- willing to suffer for the Lord

Here are some important points from today’s sermon with Pastor Ramona Sanchez ❤️
