CHIRO YOUTH MOVEMENT
A parish based group of young Christian leaders under Chiro Youth Movement Philippines. Today, don't say any unkind words.

Think of the people who can't speak. Don't complain about the food you eat, some have nothing. Don't complain about life, many die young. When you're tired of your job, think of the jobless, the disabled and those who wish they had yours. When sad thoughts seem to put you down, put a smile on your face, be positive and be thankful you're alive and still around. Life is a gift from God.

For 74 years, a spark of faith has been passed from one generation to the next, bringing the youth closer to Christ, rooted in hope, and united in love.

Today, we celebrate Chiro Pilipinas’ enduring mission of forming young hearts to serve, lead, and shine with purpose. Together, we carry this spark forward, inspiring the next generation to live their faith boldly and joyfully.

Here’s to the journey, the mission, and the spark that keeps us moving forward.

"We love you, Pope Francis!"

Pope Francis showed us what it truly means to be a servant leader, just like Christ. He reminded us that leadership is not about being served, but about serving others with humility and love. Through his words and actions, he inspired us to embrace compassion, kindness, and deep care for our neighbors.

As he returns to the loving arms of our Heavenly Father, let us pray for his soul and give thanks for the life he shared with the world.

You will be deeply missed, Lolo Kiko.

After spending 3 days in different local group camps, Team 8 of Chiro and Jubla gathered again to celebrate the National Day of Switzerland 🇨🇭

They played various games and activities which definitely deepen the bond among them and our organizations. There were also many story time moments which allowed everyone to share about their current feelings, life stories, and recent realizations.

Special thanks to Leader Chino (former Study Group Committee head and part of Team 4 from Chiro Pasig) and Leader PJ of CHIRO SANGI, Social Action Committee head, who joined us in this activity.

And our heartful gratitude to Leader Jeffrey of Chiro Afga, Regional Leader of Mindanao Region, and Leader RC of Chiro Maybunga, former N

"We must protect creation for it is a gift which the Lord has given us, it is God's present to us; we are the guardians of creation." - Pope Francis -

Let us pray,
O God, who in six days made Heaven and Earth, and gave Earth to your children for safekeeping, I make my prayer to You to guard, enlighten and inspire our minds and our bodies so that we are fit for this great task. I recognize how often my sins have contributed to the destruction of this wonderful gift that You have given us. Let me now resolve to work to keep my soul, my body, and all that surrounds it unspoiled and a garden worthy of Your majesty. Amen.

Happy Easter! Alleluia! 🐣✨

John 20:1-9

Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb and saw that the stone had been removed from the entrance. So she came running to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one Jesus loved, and said, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don’t know where they have put him!”

So Peter and the other disciple started for the tomb. Both were running, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. He bent over and looked in at the strips of linen lying there but did not go in. Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. Finally, the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)

Jesus has risen as He had promised!
He has overcome death. He has overcome darkness.

Let us celebrate! Let us live a new meaningful life with Christ! 😇
May our risen Lord fill our hearts with love, peace and joy!🕊

Happy Easter!

We will be preparing for Christ’s passion and resurrection by making small sacrifices, in the form of prayer, fasting and almsgiving in 40 days.

Here are some important dates to remember as we enter a time of “GRACE”.
