PRAYER MEETING TONIGHT - BTA North Waigani - Starting time 6:30pm
"The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heartโ€ (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, โ€œWhoever believes on Him will not be put to shameโ€ Romans 10:9-11 -

Anyone is welcome to join us for prayer "

EVERY OTHER PURSUIT IS A DEAD END!
Every other pursuit is a dead end. You may pursue education. Good. But when you attain a PhD, you have indeed reached the end. You may pursue boxing. Once you become a world champion, you have reached your end. You may pursue politics. Good. Once you become a president or prime minister, you have reached the dead end.
Everything other thing you pursue in life surely has a dead end.
Pursuing pleasure, fame, wealth, and glory will always hit a dead end.
The only pursuit that doesn't have a dead end is Jesus Christ. John 3:16 says it all. whoever believes in Jesus Christ will not die but attain eternal life. Therefore, make a serious commitment to pursue Jesus Christ above all other things. When this life ends, those who believe in Jesus will live on eternally in glory. Hallelujah! Glory to King Jesus Christ!

PRAYER MEETING TONIGHT

'So, as the Holy Spirit says:

โ€œToday, if you hear his voice,

do not harden your hearts

as you did in the rebellion,

during the time of testing in the wilderness,

where your ancestors tested and tried me,

though for forty years they saw what I did.

That is why I was angry with that generation;

I said, โ€˜Their hearts are always going astray,

and they have not known my ways.โ€™

So I declared on oath in my anger,

โ€˜They shall never enter my rest.โ€™ โ€

See to it, brothers and sisters, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called โ€œToday,โ€ so that none of you may be hardened by sinโ€™s deceitfulness. We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end. As has just been said:

โ€œToday, if you hear his voice,

do not harden your hearts

as you did in the rebellion.โ€

Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief' (Hebrews 3:7-18).

A CAUSE FOR CONCERN!
Yesterday, we witnessed a young man being robbed in broad daylight in Port Moresby. This should be a cause for deep concern for our nation, and even more so for Christians.

We must not view this merely as a law and order problem. What we are seeing is only the tip of the iceberg. The root cause is spiritual. We have declared ourselves to be a Christian country, yet we have failed to uphold Christian values and seek God's guidance through prayer. Our society is increasingly devoid of reason, sound judgment, and the fear of God.

Law and order problems continue to escalate. People are crying out for justice. Basic services are failing to reach those who need them most. State resources are being siphoned off by a privileged few and their cronies in high places. As a result, the whole nation is becoming restless and is groaning under the weight of injustice.

The government appears to have no lasting solution. If it did, we would have seen the results long ago. Our nation's sovereignty has been compromised, and the consequences are becoming increasingly evident.

Yet, God is merciful. When we cry out to Him with sincere and repentant hearts, He hears our prayers. Let us continue to uphold PNG in prayer. Satan will not prevail. There is hope in Jesus Christ.

Do not write off PNG just yet. PNG is a great nation and a platform upon which God will display His glory. I still have great hope for this country and its future.

Let's pray for peace, order, justice, and prosperity for Port Moresby and PNG.

HE NEEDS JESUS MORE THAN MONEY!
The man was lame from birth. Every day he was carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was placed to beg from those entering the temple courts. Day after day, he received money, yet it did not help him one bit. Even if someone had given him a million dollars, it still would not have solved his problem. He had been lame from birth and was completely incapacitated. No amount of money could restore his ability to walk.

The people around him misunderstood his greatest need. They thought he needed money, so they gave him money every day. But what he truly needed was something far greater than moneyโ€”he needed healing.

One day, Peter and John were approaching the temple. Seeing them about to enter, the man asked them for money.

Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" So the man gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.

Then Peter declared:

"Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk."

Taking him by the right hand, Peter helped him up, and instantly the man's feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he entered the temple courts with them, walking, leaping, and praising God.

Jesus is worth more than silver or gold. He is our ever-present solution. Peter did not give the man moneyโ€”he gave him Jesus. And through Jesus, the man received a brand-new set of legs. With those legs he could now work, earn his own income, build his own house, walk to the river, care for himself, and obtain his own silver and gold. When the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. Hallelujah! Glory to King Jesus!

Jesus does not always give us what we want; He gives us what we truly need. The lame man asked for money, but Peter gave him Jesus. Money could not solve his problem, but Jesus did.

Likewise, within these next seven days, may Jesus bring complete deliverance into your life. Trust Him. He did it then, and He is still doing it today. Hallelujah!

(Read Acts 3 and John 8:36.)

REVIVAL TO TRANSCEND DOCTRINES!
In John 4, the Samaritan woman meets Jesus. Jesus asks her for a drink of water. She replies, "You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan. We do not associate with one another. How can you ask me for a drink?"
Jesus answers, "If you knew who it is that is asking you for a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
The woman says, "Give me this living water."
Jesus then tells her, "Go, call your husband and come back."
She replies that she has no husband. Jesus commends her for telling the truth and says, "You have had five husbands, and the man you are now living with is not your husband."
Realising that Jesus had revealed the deepest secrets of her life, and recognising Him as a prophet, she says, "Our ancestors worshipped on this mountain, but the Jews insist that Jerusalem is the place where people must worship."
Jesus responds that the hour is coming when people will worship the Father neither on that mountain nor in Jerusalem. Instead, the hour has now come when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth.
Jesus was introducing a new way of worship that went beyond the traditions of both Jews and Samaritans. True worship is in spirit and in truth. It is not confined to a specific location or bound by strict religious traditions. It can take place anywhere and at any time as long as worship happens in spirit and truth.
A revival is coming. This coming revival will transcend church denominations and doctrinal divisions as believers unite in worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
Mr Nelson Tapineng preached on this message. It was powerful, and we were all greatly blessed.

โ€œI was glad when they said to me, โ€˜Let us go to the house of the LORD.โ€™โ€
โ€” Psalm 122:1
Yes, in the house of the Lord there is peace, joy, and refreshing for the soul.
Come, let us join hands in prayer as we seek Godโ€™s presence together. Let us secure our eternity first โ€” before we chase anything else in life.
