Naional Prayer Conference Dedication Program Held | Lutheran Renewal Church of Papua New Guinea today (August 5) held a grandstand and coference-area dedication program at 8 mile Starbrook Open Theatre (Bush Wara) in Port Moresby.

Looking forward to 17th National Conference which will officially open on August 26, this program is significant according to the Host churches of Port Moresby.

According to the Treasurer, the host Churches have raised more than K26, 000 through fundraising which has enabled them to complete much needed facilities for the Conference. They are happy that almost 80 percent of the preparations had completed and are looking forward to accommodate more than a thousand people who will be flying in from all centers of the country starting this week.

During the Dedication, owner of 8 Mile Starbrook Open Air Theatre Ms Shelly Launa has given her land and some facilities to be used for the Conference.

Members of LRCPNG National governing body, Papua District executives and churches, community members and invited guests made the dedication program a memorable one for the Host congregations. An open ivitation was given to Churches, Pastors and Christian members from other denominations in Port Moresby.

Among many annointed Guest speakers, the week-long conference will see Ps Yodie Batzke from the Woman of Favor Ministry, Australia. Ms Batzke is an Autralian Woman Parliamentarian as well as Pastor.

The LRCPNG's National Prayer Conference has always coincide with the National Remembrance Day.
