The story of this new Nae Church Dedication will be one that is filled with God's Mercies, Miracles and Mysteries.
In, 2011 an old DVD CD was found in a rubbish bin that contained valuable photograps and 8mm videos of people and places in Mussau Island during the 1960's period.
Amongst these treasures, lay the evidences of the first ever church dedication in Mussau captured on video.
Nae Church was the last church built in Mussau Island in 1960 since the Seventh-day Adventist Missionaries arrived thirty-years (30) prior, but uniquely the first church, by our builders on the island, to be built on the ground.
This two (2) minute video capture by Pr. Robert R Frame who was then the Assistant Secretary to the Australian Inter-Union Conference (You can see the bow of MV Malalagi in the foreground at 0:00:00-0:00:07 timeline on the video)
