Here is a writeup from outgoing Sectry, Mrs. Esther Haro. Stay connected to the vine>>
God's call to a year of fruitfulness in his service.
Strong connection to the limitless Source (that is, the vine) results in us bearing more fruit. The branch itself cannot eat the fruit it produces; the fruit is for someone else; fruit of healing, joy, peace, love, breakthrough, etc. is an output of a connected branch. The more fruit we produce, the more it is taken from you by those in need. A promise for one's connectedness is that you can ask God for anything and it shall be granted. Answered prayers become a lifestyle when we continue to stay connected to the vine.
A life connected to God is a life of fruitfulness. You manifest the source you are connected to. God use my life to bring out more fruit. I am just a branch and a channel.
As sister Kepo said and I quote, "We don't work hard to produce fruit rather we produce fruit by being connected to the vine".
In the secular world, you work hard and you get results. In God's kingdom, God manages the vineyard (spiritual environment), You are only required to abide in him, rest in him, trust God and the fruits is a result of your faithfulness and your connectedness.
Lord, I am just a branch. Use me for your glory alone.
Abide in Christ and be fruitful.
Amen
