✂️ Barber Ministry Is Back! 🙏
After nearly a month away serving in Tonga for Christ Evangelistic Campaign, our Associate Pastor, Minister Tevita Latu, is grateful to be back home and ready to resume his Barber Ministry.
By God's grace, the mission continues—not only through preaching, but also through simple acts of service, friendship, and connection with our community.

🌏 FIJI FOR CHRIST 2026 — Reaching Beyond Borders 🙏
We praise God for the opportunity to support our brother, Elder Floyd Paua, as he serves as the guest speaker for the Fiji for Christ Evangelistic Meetings in Naroro, Fiji, from 16–29 August 2026.
Under the theme “The Mysteries Revealed,” this evangelistic campaign will share a timely message of hope, truth, and salvation in Jesus Christ.
We invite our Korobosea family, friends, and the wider community to join us in prayer and support as Elder Floyd shares God's Word and points hearts to Christ.
“And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me…” — Revelation 22:12
🙏 Let us pray for Elder Floyd, the people of Fiji, and for hearts to be open to the Gospel.

Why settle for 'good' when 'better' is available? Terah's goal was Canaan but he chose to settle in Haran. He died in Haran without entering Canaan.

Seventh-day Adventists' goal is the Heavenly Canaan but many are settling for Haran (the comfort of this world).
Where are we now? Where are we choosing to settle? Terah died in Haran. Is that our lot?

Our prayer should be "I'm pressing on the up-ward way, new heights I'm gaining everyday".

We give all glory and praise to our gracious Lord for the dedication, commitment, and willingness of the Taurama Valley Branch Church family to be faithful witnesses for Christ this morning at Tari Market.

What a blessing to see God's people stepping beyond the walls of the church to share His love, hope, and Gospel with the wider community. Every act of service, every prayer, every conversation, and every witness can become a seed planted for God's Kingdom.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” — Matthew 5:14

May the Lord continue to strengthen, empower, and guide the Taurama Valley Branch Church as they faithfully represent Christ and proclaim His Gospel.

May their witness inspire each of us to ask: “Lord, where can You use me today?”

Morning Watch, 8 August 2026: Jesus Baptised by John

Key Text: Luke 3:21-22

Jesus did not receive baptism as a confession of guilt on His own account. He identified Himself with sinners, taking the steps that we are to take, and doing the work that we must do…A new and important era was opening before Him… As one with us, He must bear the burden of our guilt and woe. The Sinless One must feel the shame of sin… Alone He must tread the path; alone He must bear the burden… The Saviour’s glance seems to pe*****te heaven as He pours out His soul in prayer…Never before have the angels listened to such a prayer. They are eager to bear to their loved Commander a message of assurance and comfort. But no; the Father Himself will answer the petition of His Son. Direct from the throne issue the beams of His glory. The heavens are opened, and upon the Saviour’s head descends a dovelike form of purest light,—fit emblem of Him, the meek and lowly One. -The Desire of Ages, 111, 112.
