‼️A pastor in Washington made headlines last week after securing a significant legal win following multiple arrests for publicly sharing the Gospel.

Pastor Matthew Meinecke’s case against officials in Seattle has now concluded, according to First Liberty Institute attorney Nate Kellum.

The incident began during a large protest in downtown Seattle. Meinecke saw the moment as an opportunity to speak about his faith.

“He brought his Bible and began reading from it,” Kellum explained. “While he holds strong pro-life views, his main intention that day was simply to share the Gospel.”

📖He started reading from the Book of John—but the reaction was hostile.

According to Kellum, some protesters surrounded him, shouting derogatory remarks and creating an uncomfortable environment. Meinecke tried to de-escalate by moving a short distance away, but the tension followed.

At one point, someone reportedly grabbed his Bible and tore out pages.

The situation escalated further when Meinecke retrieved another Bible and continued reading. Kellum claims that’s when individuals associated with Antifa became involved.

He alleges they physically lifted the pastor, carried him around a block, and then dropped him onto the pavement.
