🌿 Tubusereia Sunday School Ministry – 15th Anniversary Celebrations 🌿

As we celebrate 15 years of God’s blessings and faithfulness, we take a moment to honor and remember the great leaders whom God raised within our ministry.

Through their faithful service, love, and commitment, they helped shape the foundation of our Sunday School and inspired many young hearts to grow in God’s Word.

Though they are no longer with us, their legacy continues to live on in the ministry they helped build.
🕊️ May their souls rest in eternal peace.

Get ready for a spectacular and exciting opening to our United Reform Church Sunday School Ministry 15th Anniversary Celebrations! 🙌

The Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary Band will be leading the marching parade of our four groups, all dressed in their beautiful and colourful attires, as they make their way through the village to the main arena. 🎺🥁✨

🎶 Peroveta Songs for Our 15th Anniversary Celebrations! 🎶

One of the special highlights of our celebration will be the Peroveta Songs — performed by our four groups, each representing a King from the Bible. 👑

Peroveta songs have a beautiful history — they were introduced by Polynesian missionaries from the Cook Islands who arrived on our coastal shores in the early 1880s. These prophet songs blended their hymn traditions with our local languages and cultural expressions, teaching biblical truths through music and rhythm.

The London Missionary Society (LMS), with devoted missionaries like Ruatoka, played a key role in bringing and teaching these songs to our communities. 🙏

As we celebrate the United Reform Church Sunday School Ministry’s 15th Anniversary, we will sing these Peroveta songs with joy and thanksgiving — to honor God and the faith journey that began many generations ago. ❤️✨
