📢 CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LEADERSHIP TRAINING

The Central Papua Conference Children’s Ministry Department warmly invites all Children’s Ministry Leaders, Coordinators, Pastors, and District Directors to participate in the Alive in Jesus Hands-On Training & Leadership Certification Level 1.

📅 Date: August 30 – September 6, 2026
📍 Venue: Bautama Mission Grounds
💰 Registration Fee: K150 per church
👥 Participants: Maximum of three (3) representatives from each local church

Registration forms are available for collection from the Central Papua Conference Reception. Please complete and submit your registration form before the deadline on August 26, 2026.

This training is a valuable opportunity to equip and strengthen our Children’s Ministry leaders as we work together to disciple every child for Jesus through the Alive in Jesus initiative.

The Central Papua Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church today officially launched OneVoice27, a General Conference mission initiative aimed at preparing church members spiritually and equipping them to reach communities ahead of a major global evangelism campaign in 2027.

This initiative by the church’s headquarter leadership in the United States of America was intended to mark the 2,000-year anniversary of Jesus Christ’s baptism in AD27 and His Earthly Ministries while mobilizing church members for global mission.

The launch at Bautama Campground brought together pastors, missionaries, church leaders, ministry teams and members under the theme “Mission for All.”

More than just a program schedule, OneVoice27 was presented as a movement calling members to move from personal spiritual renewal into active community engagement and evangelism.

The event was built around three themes-One Message, One Mission and One Voice-each focusing on a different stage of preparation and outreach.

The opening session, One Message – Prepare, centred on worship, prayer and personal transformation, with speakers encouraging participants to strengthen their relationship with God before engaging in mission work.

Presenters challenged members to recognise that effective outreach begins with individual spiritual commitment and renewal.

The second session, One Mission – Engage, focused on how the church can connect with people in changing times. Discussions highlighted both traditional evangelism and the growing role of digital platforms and social media in sharing messages of faith.

Church leaders emphasised that mission work today extends beyond church buildings and public gatherings, encouraging members to use everyday relationships and digital spaces as opportunities to reach others.
