The following is the final video of the actual ribbon cutting and launching of Chi Alpha PNG by Reverend Joseph Pandu, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God Papua New Guinea.

We apologise for not being able to bring you this part of the program via livestream on the launch day due to situation beyond our control brought about by power outage on the main PNG Power grid so this video was recorded and now uploaded as a completion of the Chi Alpha PNG Launch event.

Credits to University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG) AOG Students Movement executives and students members for this initiative to establish this student movement on campus at UPNG and now with the official blessing of the AOGPNG Movement, they can network other sister institutions into the Chi Alpha PNG Chapter. We applaud President Judah Kutkue and his team for this job well done.

Praise God!

We continue to work with the church in Papua New Guinea assisting with pastoral development, Bible colleges, training children’s workers, and promoting drug and alcohol rehabilitation through Teen Challenge. We plan to be back in PNG in July for our next four-year term. Thank you to all our faithful supporters. God has great things in store.
— Phil and Kim Rojak, AGWM missionaries to Papua New Guinea

We join billions of other believers all around the world in mourning and we sympathize with the Bonnke Family who lost their beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 7, 2019.

AS EARTH WE MOURN, HEAVEN REJOICES FOR A MIGHTY GENERAL IN SOUL WINNING HAS RETURNED HOME.

MAY HIS SOUL REST IN HEAVENLY PEACE.

The Assemblies of God Papua New Guinea General Council have today unveiled the naming of the new AOGPNG Head Office Conference Room. The recently opened Head Office contain a number of offices in it including the new conference room, the General Superintendent's Office, the General Secretary's Office among others. Much to his surprise, the new conference room was named after one of the first indigenous Central Province converts under the AOGPNG mission as the Tau Seargent Conference Room. Papa Pastor Tau was all tears as he himself unveiled the name of the room to find it named after him in the presence of the full General Council, his family and others.

The General Superintendent Reverend Joe Pandu acknowledged the huge support from AOGPNG women who had gathered at the recently held National Women's Convention in Goroka in September and made cash contributions and pledges which helped them purchase furniture for the new conference room and offices. Meanwhile, the General Secretary of AOGPNG Reverend Mark Ani also made a statement to commend the AOG Kimbe and Bialla Districts for their cash donations towards purchasing a brand new computer set and network printer for the General Secretary's Office.

Please download and read this diary of Missionary Don Westbrook who was one of the two pioneer AOG Australia missionaries that originally came and started the early church work in Ilingita, Maprik. Their early journey we treasure dearly today as the root of our church history. The other pioneer being Missionary Hugh Davidson.

DIARY of a PIONEER - Pastor Don Westbrook felt that God was speaking to him to offer his abilities to make the Papua New Guinea venture a success. He had been a builder for many years before following the call of God into full time ministry. Pastor Cyril Westbrook asked his step-mother, Winnie Westbrook, in her later years, to relate the story of his father’s going to New Guinea. She said that one day he came from his study and said “Let’s have a cuppa and a chat together.” She said “I told him there is no need as God has already talked to me, and it is okay.” She released him to make himself available to be Pastor Hugh Davidson’s helper and companion in launching the New Guinea Mission. On the 22nd October 1948, Don sailed with Hugh Davidson on the Malekula to take the first bold steps to pioneer the Assemblies of God in Papua New Guinea …Download:http://denisvsmith.com/wp-content/uploads/Diary-of-a-Pioneer.pdf
