✨ A historic and blessed day for our Shrine in Muli and for the whole diocese of Mendi ✨🇵🇬⛪️ On May 13th, we celebrated the first Fatima Day of this year! 🙏 It was a beautiful time of prayer, featuring a solemn Mass and a moving procession. 🕯️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🔥

🎉 We have incredible news to share! Thanks to the intercession and efforts of most rev. Bishop Donald Lippert OFM Cap, our Fatima Shrine in Papua New Guinea, lovingly cared for by the Missionaries of the Holy Family, has been officially recognized by the Catholic Bishops Conference as a National Shrine! 🥳🙌🗓️ This prestigious status will be formally proclaimed in October by Most Rev. Cardinal John Ribat MSC! 👑🇻🇦

❤️ We are now beginning our spiritual preparations to welcome this immense honor with hearts full of joy and purity. 🌟 Let us pray together as we prepare for this historic milestone! 📿✨

✨ A beautiful night of faith and devotion in Muli! 🙏🕯️

Watch this moving video from the evening Fatima candle-lit procession held on May 12. Thousands of faithful gathered to pray and walk together at the Fatima Shrine in Muli parish, located in the Catholic Diocese of Mendi, Papua New Guinea.
The glowing candles and collective prayers created a truly powerful atmosphere of hope and unity in our community ❤️🌟.

Spring is coming… and step by step I am getting stronger again.
I will see Papua New Guinea soon and hope to continue the missionary work among you my lovely people there 🇵🇬🙏

Eucharistic procession with the youth and faithful from Kewabi and Ialibu to the university campus, where we celebrated the Holy Mass inaugurating the 2026 academic year.
Together we prayed for God’s blessing for the students, lecturers, and staff of Western Pacific University. 🙏✨
