✝️❤️🙏
AUGUST 15 | Solemnity of Our Lady of the Assumption

On this beautiful feast, we honor Our Lady of the Assumption, who was taken body and soul into the glory of heaven. Mary reminds us that a life fully surrendered to God leads to the fullness of His promise.

May we, like Mary, remain faithful, humble, and trusting in God’s will, knowing that our true home and hope are found in Him.

Our Lady of the Assumption, pray for us!

For tonight's session, the theme was "The Purpose of the Parabol."

Main Bible verse: Mattew 13: 10-17

_“13:Though seeing, they do not see;
though hearing, they do not hear or understand_

The main message picked was; to dig deeper for the Lord. Keep your relationship with him strong so that you may not stray from the right path. He has all the answers you're searching for, but to understand it all, you have to dig deeper to uncover hidden meanings behind each parable.

Reflection questions;

1. Why does Jesus state that he speaks to the crowds in Parables?

2. According to Jesus, what happens to the person who has spiritual understanding, and what happens to the person who does not?

3. Why does Jesus called the disciples eyes and hears are "Blessed" compared to the prophets and righteous people of the past?

That's all, and have a blessed night ahead, family😇🫂.

Semester 2: JY Thursday's Prayer Meeting Session 1.

Thank you JY Fam for the wonderful Session tonight🥹🙏. Hope everyone enjoyed it as much.

Notes for this session:

Theme: "Do not worry"

-The Heavenly Father knows about all your worries.
-Trusting God will bring you peace for He will always provide a way.
-Your worries are indeed valid but just remember there might be others out there facing much tougher challenges then you. So always remember to be grateful.
-The scriptures will guide you, when you're in doubt.

Reflective Questions:

1.What is one worry you are currently carrying?

2.How has it affected your relationship with God?

3.What would it look like to trust God with that worry?

4.Which scripture spoke to you tonight?
_( Read Mathew 6:33, Philippines 4:6-7 & 1 Peter 5:7)_

That's that, and thank you all for attending. And also a big welcome to our brothers, Jerin and Leo from Australia who have joined us😇. We hope you both can feel at home here and we'll be seeing you our next session🙏.

Thankyou very much again & good night JY Fam.
