Thank you everyone for continuing to follow this page into 2024.

Today was a special day for Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Lae, as we had the installation of our new parish pastor, Reverend Kevin Tetac, into office to serve for the next five years. Rev. Kevin is from Markham.

Thank you to the leaders and members of Ps. Kevin's home parish for bringing him and presenting him to Our Saviour, and thank you to Rev. Bamiringnuc and Rev. Yana of Lae City Circuit and Yabem District who conducted the installation service, being witnessed by OSLC leaders and congregation.

Praise and thanks be to God alone for His unending goodness to us, as we witnessed today in the receiving and installing of His servant, our pastor.

May He get all the glory.

We continue to stand together in prayer and serving God into the rest of the year 2024, as we strive to be salt of the earth and light to the world (Matthew 5:13-16).

Dear all, we have two teams going out this Christmas outreach. One is already in Simbu lead by Pastor Zawie,Pastor Mathew and Evangelist Jimmy The other team is going tomorrow to Labu led by Evangelist John Malai. The church has agreed to keep both teams and others who are going home in prayers every 7pm. 🙏. Starting tomorrow night. How long you.pray is up to individuals but atleast we are connected at 7pm everymight till 31st December. We continue to live.our theme; "Go Forth and Shine". God bless you all.

We had a wonderful OSLC Day celebration, Saturday 24th June 2023.

Hello everyone!

God has been so good to us all, as a church and as individuals and we have seen His goodness manifested in so many ways in our lives. And as such He deserves our utmost praise and thanksgiving always!

On the 24th to 25th of June 2023, Our Saviour's Lutheran Church will be hosting a grand Thanksgiving program at our church ground, to celebrate God's faithfulness in our lives through our giving, and in doing so raising funds for church projects.

On Saturday 24th June, we will be having our Showcase event, highlighting our church ministries and how God has blessed our church in different ways. It will be a fun family event, open to all, with information booths, stalls selling food, live gospel music, fun games for kids, item presentations and more. All are welcome!
On Sunday 25th June, we will have our main Thanksgiving service, with the giving of thanksgiving gifts.
