Proverbs 6: 6-8 Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest. Proverbs 30: 25. The ants are a people not strong, yet they provide their food in summer.
Has man not flown into space, has he not built fines houses that we should go to these tiny creatures and learn from them? Commentators vary. I think the LORD for a good reason commands us to stoop low and learn from ants. They gather food all day. Why food? You'd starve to death if you haven't eaten a thing. The ant works for what is essential. How about you? Do you toil for what's essential or just about anything? Do you worry yourself about many things in life? The ONE and ONLY thing that is essential is the Word of God (Lk 10: 41-44). Let not the troubles of life burden you. Let not anyone steal the Word planted in your heart. Shalom
