The Gospel for today has proven that all women are called to serve, too. Because despite the fact that Jesus twelve apostles were all men, we have also heard from the readings that some women also accompanied Jesus in His mission to preach the Good News.
Truly, the calling to serve God is not exclusive for men only; the truth is, all baptized Catholics have a role to play in the churchβs mission, and women are also called to serve, tooβ it may not be as priests, but as collaborators in Christ Missionβjust like Mary, the blessed among women who played an important role in the history of Salvation.
