Matthew 7:6 reads, "Don't waste what is holy on people who are unholy. Don't throw your pearls to pigs! They will tramble the pearls, then turn and attack you.

Some of us treat prayer like a fire horse in a public building: For Emergency Use Only. Or whenever life throws us a curve and things don't flow like they think they should, they pull out the old "prayer emergency kit." You know, "When life gets tough, the tough start praying." It's true that we can talk to God whenever we're faced with an emergency - He won't kick us out or ignore us. He loves it when we come and speak to Him about our concerns. But we're not to look at prayer as merely for emergency use. God delights in a steady flow of communication between earth and heaven. 🕊️Followers of Christ

1 Thessalonians 4:11, Encourages believers to live a quiet and productive life, focusing on their own affairs and working with their hands. This means striving for a peaceful existence, attending to one's own responsibilities, and engaging in honest labor. The verse emphasizes the importance of both personal diligence and respectful conduct towards those outside the Christian community.
