PSALM 57

1. Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy!
I look to You for protection. I will hide beneath the shadow of Your wings until the danger passes by.
2. I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfil His purpose for me.
3. He will send help from heaven to rescue me, disgracing those who hound me. My God will send forth His unfailing love and faithfulness.
4. I am surrounded by fierce lions who greedily devour human prey - whose teeth pierce like spears and arrows, and whose tongues cut like swords.
5. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens! May Your glory shine over all the earth.
6. My enemies have set a trap for me. I am weary from distress. They have dug a deep pit in my path, but they themselves have fallen into it.
7. My heart is confident in You, O God, my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing Your praises!
8. Wake up my heart! Wake up, O lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song.
9. I will thank You, Lord, among the people. I will sing Your praises among the nations.
10. For Your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.
11. Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May Your glory shine over all the earth.

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:24-26)

Would you respond like Paul the Apostle did after the Lord had assured Paul in this manner: "My grace is sufficient for you:for my strength is made perfect in weakness", Paul responded, "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me."

I am still to dig deeper on this, as the Holy Spirit leads, guides and teaches all things.

When our backs were against the wall, it looked like it was over.....and the Lord of glory turned around....and turned everything around.

When the Lord turned again our captivity, we were like them that dreamt!

Our hearts and mouths were filled with joy and laughter. It is marvellous in our eyes!

Indeed, the Lord has done great things and we are glad. We have sown in tears, and we shall doubtlessly reap in joy!

Hey! You may be at war with deep thoughts, contemplating to get back to the world! The devil will give you very valid and compelling reasons to be outside the domain of Christianity.

Kindly know that the Lord does not desire that anyone should perish, but that all (people) should come to repentance, to the saving knowledge of the truth. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 shows that the Lord is faithful, and He will guard you from the evil one. The Lord loves you so much, and He is pleading with you today, saying: return, O faithless sons (and daughters), I will seal your faithlessness. The Lord yearns to restore you to His fold, because you are the sheep of his pasture. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, shows us in Luke 9:62, that, no one should look back after putting his hand to the plough, and such a person is not fit for the Kingdom. When we come to the Lord He entrusts you and I with His treasure, and He expects us to guard this treasure through the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us. As such, He will keep us from stumbling (falling/backsliding), to help us remain standing in His unchangeable glory, blameless with joy unspeakable and full of glory. He wants to impute His laws in our hearts, so that we may not slip backwards in our walk with Him, and be out of step with Him. In fact, He still desires that the steps of a righteous man be ordained and ordered by Him.

Return to Him, from whom you have deeply defected, O sons of the Lord God Almighty. He is still calling: Return to Me, and I will return to to you. To you who used to be adherents to fellowship with the Lord, He is asking this question: you were running well, who hindered you from obeying the truth? Come back to the Lord, and He will apply eye-salve to your eyes, and your eye-sight will be restored, and you shall walk again in the paths of righteousness. May the Spirit of the Lord help you find the way to being a child of God and enjoy your walk with the Lord. SHALOM! Bible Verses On Seeking the Lord.

1. But from there you will seek the Lord your God and you will find Him, if you will search after Him with all your heart and with all your soul (Deuteronomy 4:29).

2. Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually (1 Chronicles 16:11).

3. And you Solomon my son, know the God f your father and serve Him with a whole heart and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches all hearts and understands every plan and thought. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever (1 Chronicles 28:9)

4. If my people who are called by My name humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14)

5. And those who know Your name put their trust in You, for You, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You (Psalm 9:10)

6. The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God (Psalm 14:2)

7. The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek after Him shall praise the Lord! May your hearts live forever (Psalm 22:26)

8. You have said, "Seek My face". My heart says to You, "Your face, O Lord, do I seek " (Psalm 27:8)

9. I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and He delivered me from all my fears (Psalm 34:4)

19. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. You will seek Me and find Me, when You seek Me with all your heart. I will be found of you, declares the Lord, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares the Lord, and I will bring you back to place where I sent into exile (Jeremiah 29:12-14)

20. The Lord is good to those wait for Him, to the who seeks Him. Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that He may come and rain righteousness upon you. For thus says the Lord to the house of Israel: Seek Me and live (Lamentations 3:25; Hosea 10:12; Amos 5:4)

This is your time to seek the Lord, and surrender your life to Him, and receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. I pray that none power of darkness shall hinder you from taking this necessary action.
